Sometimes I might sound like an INFP and my explanation to that is....I have none.

Man I'm really bad when it comes to reading test results *sigh*

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INFJ
Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Intuiting (Ni): Transforming with a meta-perspective. Withdrawing from the world and focusing your mind to receive an insight or realization. Checking if synergy results. Trying out a realization to transform things.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Feeling (Fe): Building trust through giving relationships. Empathically responding to others' needs and take on their needs and values as your own. Checking for respect and trust. Giving and receiving support to grow closer to people.

I think working as a nurse has pushed me to develop my S processes -- it was that or get fired, no doubt

How can both my F's be so high? Took the test a second time about an hour later, came out the same -- huh.

How do I figure out what (who, hehe) my shadow is? I would like to get to know her...

The shadow you speak of is how the various types react under stress. The dominant function (Ni for INFJ's) gets kicked to last place, and the next function (Fe for INFJ's) becomes primary. Do this enough (4 times) and you're working from your "opposite" functions: Ne Fi Te Si. That's your shadow - the "other" you that isn't usually there until you're really stressed.

If these results are different from what you know of yourself, you might consider why your developmental pattern does not align with your expectation. You might also consider exploring this result as a possible better fit.

Well, this time I decided to be as honest as possible, and really pondered the questions deeply in multiple scenarios, fully anticipating I'd get some random type like INTP or ESTJ...

Looks like there is no escaping it. I'm an INFJ with ENFJ/INTJ tendencies. Where most INFJs who are undecided about type lean toward INFP, I lean toward INTJ. I've always been a Thinker.

I decided to take this test again, since today i felt in such a negative mood and got pretty emotional...my last results where INTJ..now I get INFP..

Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENFP, or INTP

looks like my mood really affects my results..also I always test as an INFJ on a regular mbti test, but when it comes to cognitive functions they vary so much...I get INTJ,INTP, and INFP..a lot..which really makes me in doubt of which tpe I really am.

Ni, Ne, Fe, Te, Ti, Se, Fi, Si. Interesting. I don't think I've ever scored that high on Te before. I blame time management, lab skills, and my ENTJ sister.
