It's the end of the world as we know it... what would you listen to?

Basically a big Pumpkins Fest...
"Can't live for tomorrow, tomorrow's much too long"
SP - Today

"The moon is out, the stars invite, think I'll leave tonight...."
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PtJu61fQ3Y"]SP - Rocket[/ame]

"Time is never time at all"
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RXvh4jeiaU"]SP - Tonight, Tonight[/ame]

Followed by some Sacred Harp Singing for those who believe in God and those who believe in the power of music to transcend:

And in the last moments, we all join hands around the earth and sing:
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_hBxGSWzqY"]Chanter - Florent Pagny[/ame]

Because if I could chose a song to die to it would be this one:

Beethoven seventh symphony, movement number two. Or John Murphy's adagio in d minor from Sunshine or in the house in a heartbeat from him in 28 Days Later.

Well, in all seriousness I think that I'd actually toss my hat in with the no music crowd. I mean, if it really was the end of the world, I'd want to just hear whatever natural sounds of the environment are left. I personally would feel a bit cheesy turning the end of the world into a music video. However, actually playing a musical instrument or singing would be different.

silversun pickups on repeat,

and maybe Anna Ternheim's "To be Gone"

Mozart - I could probably think of more fitting/interesting music, but if all our music and compositions were going to be destroyed and forgotten, the loss of Mozart's music would be the most tragic. So I'd give some of his piano concertos one last hurrah.

Whose to say its a foregone conclusion, with the right instruments you could prevent even the end of the world.
