Four Temperament Test

So what mix did you get? Melancholy Sanguine (cuz those percentages are close) I always thought Melancholy and Sanguine were sort of opposites but turns out you can be a hybrid of them. Who knew.

Yup, you have sanguine. They're full of life, excitable, fun loving, in the moment and all that jazz. SPs are usually related to Sanguines but an ENFP would most probably be a sanguine/phlegmatic mix. Like I said before though, the different typing systems are better off not mixed.

The problem with this test is it was written my a melancholy who wanted to be clever and have all the words start with the same letter rather than picking the right word that would be easily understood.

I don't think you're sanguine, just a hell of a lot more positive than most, that's something often associated with Sanguines. You strike me as a well balanced INFJ to be honest.

I don't know about well balanced, but I'll take that as a compliment. :wink:

I found myself on a lot of those test items debating between 2 choices, or finding none of them really fit me at all, or even not finding a difference between some of the options. It wasn't a very good test in my opinion. I wonder how I'd turn out on a more objective, reliable test?
 
Can anyone shed any light on what my results mean? I noticed a distinct difference between mine and the other INFJ's. Though I still came out as melancholy phlegmatic, it was only just.

By the way, I suspect i might be some sort of INFJ/ENFJ/INTJ/ENTJ hybrid.

INFJ fits with Mel/Phl. The ENFJ/INTJ/ENTJ that you can see in yourself could account for having higher scores in San/Ch, particularly Choleric.

But mostly this;

This test should be done with an interpreter or something. The words don’t always mean what they should because they tried to be too tricky [anal].
