I was a quiet, withdrawn NT female who had crap going on at home that made me just want to retreat and avoid conflict. I never understood the other girls my age, they were usually what society said girls were supposed to be, feelers, sensors, girly, nothing like me. No doubt this made me stand out. Girls never picked on me but there were a couple of guys who did in high school.

For the most part I wasn't picked on... I was mostly just ignored. Which definitely wasn't fun, but at least its better than being bullied.
