I'm positive this technology has been in use for quite some time. Perhaps not the full facial reconstruction but it would be easy to superimpose smaller portions like eyes and lips. I've seen plenty of footage that seemed a bit wonky, but I could not discern exactly why other than to say it felt the person was being "unnatural."

With the tech now being out in the open to the general public, and it becoming harder to differentiate fakery from reality, it is very important that you look at every piece of information you are fed with the utmost scrutiny. It sounds like a massively paranoid statement, but if you want to escape the media machine you've got to be vigilant. It's not as if it's a commonplace... yet. Just a reminder that it's definitely out there. Being used to what end is difficult to say.

I want to compile information about lies from the government and media (primarily USA since I live here and that's all I'm fed. But lies from other countries are just as applicable, and probably more useful to me since I'm an ignorant fat slob like every American).

I don't think you are remotely paranoid, just a skeptic. That to me is a prudent view to take of the world, ignorance is only bliss for a short time. I am a fan of Carl Sagan, and I think his writing of the "The fine art of Baloney Detection" deserves more widespread appreciation. I don't think he intended it to be just for the use of scientists. I have copied it below. I am not a huge fan of Occam's Razor, where it can perhaps, sometimes be used as an excuse to not examine things to a deeper level. I would certainly acknowledge it's effectiveness when time is not a luxury. Everything else he included, I agree with almost completely.

In spite of all this doubt, I think a certain level of trust should and does exist between all people. Namely that we have a biological imperative to 'get along'. Despite some of the lies and b.s. we see, there is still I think, a very deep desire to connect with each other, to live honestly and with integrity. Those who step outside that imperative, to me , are usually ill or damaged in some way. Even the mention of Darwin (who I regard very highly) in his kit, I think sadly can give a possibly misleading interpretation of Darwins ideas.

"Survival of the fittest" as just one phrase, is to me a very crude over simplification of his work, skipping over the symbiotic nature of living things, and missing one his crucial messages, that of living things surviving due to their abilty to adapt to changes, and often done collaboratively together, not just individually. Both Darwin and Sagan I'm sure knew, that all of this was within an interconnected web of their surrounding environment. Enough of my waffle, the list is below.

Wherever possible there must be independent confirmation of the “facts.”
Encourage substantive debate on the evidence by knowledgeable proponents of all points of view.
Arguments from authority carry little weight — “authorities” have made mistakes in the past. They will do so again in the future. Perhaps a better way to say it is that in science there are no authorities; at most, there are experts.
Spin more than one hypothesis. If there’s something to be explained, think of all the different ways in which it could be explained. Then think of tests by which you might systematically disprove each of the alternatives. What survives, the hypothesis that resists disproof in this Darwinian selection among “multiple working hypotheses,” has a much better chance of being the right answer than if you had simply run with the first idea that caught your fancy.
Try not to get overly attached to a hypothesis just because it’s yours. It’s only a way station in the pursuit of knowledge. Ask yourself why you like the idea. Compare it fairly with the alternatives. See if you can find reasons for rejecting it. If you don’t, others will.
Quantify. If whatever it is you’re explaining has some measure, some numerical quantity attached to it, you’ll be much better able to discriminate among competing hypotheses. What is vague and qualitative is open to many explanations. Of course there are truths to be sought in the many qualitative issues we are obliged to confront, but finding them is more challenging.
If there’s a chain of argument, every link in the chain must work (including the premise) — not just most of them.
Occam’s Razor. This convenient rule-of-thumb urges us when faced with two hypotheses that explain the data equally well to choose the simpler.
Always ask whether the hypothesis can be, at least in principle, falsified. Propositions that are untestable, unfalsifiable are not worth much. Consider the grand idea that our Universe and everything in it is just an elementary particle — an electron, say — in a much bigger Cosmos. But if we can never acquire information from outside our Universe, is not the idea incapable of disproof? You must be able to check assertions out. Inveterate skeptics must be given the chance to follow your reasoning, to duplicate your experiments and see if they get the same result.

Unfortunately your entire thread is nullified with this one statement. What Bill says always checks out. Any and all outlets that say differently can always be tracked back to a liberal founded base.

Sorry but if you start out making unfounded statements youll never get the answers you said you were interested in.

Ill add one more thing before I leave in complete disgust. Even though what I have said is accurate, that does not mean he and everyone else should not continue to be questioned.

P.S. I suppose its safe to say that I have not heard everything Bill has said. So its possible hes lied and I do not know it. What I do know though is 8 or so years ago hearing CNN, MsNBC ect constantly attacking Bill saying he lied about this, he lied about that.... and checking to see if that was true. Every time I found it that it wasnt. CNN or MsNBC just cherry picked information not giving it all, not giving the context etc... sometimes out and out lying themselves. Its one if the reasons I recognize them to be nothing more than tabloid news sources. Just make sure you investigate the people that call other people liars as well.

As a note consider this. How many liberal reporters have you heard destroyed by the lies they told? How many conservative or middle of the road? Thank you.

UFOs are real. What they are is the question thats never been answered. A few things to consider, lights in the sky never constitute an alien. If it does, they have a sense of humor which is to our benefit. Thousands upon thousands of sighting each year, everyone with video on their cell phones now and no one has captured definitive proof. If aliens are advanced enough to know how to travel between stars, they can certainly make cloaking devices.
Having said that, they used to say there was 10 times the stars in the universe as there was all the gains of sand on earth. They recently revised that saying to 10 times that, so there is 100 times the stars in the universe as there are grains of sand on this planet. All that space....yeah theres life elsewhere. Will we ever encounter it? That will depend on how much life there is I think.

Well thats my point. Liberal hosts get a pass a great deal of the time. When its really bad they get let go. And yet nothing has ever stuck to Bill. Look I dont know the guy. If I had to work for him or the like I might decide hes an ass...just dont know. But I do no there are multiple times the liberal media has cried about something hes said, I went and checked it out and there was no lie to it.
Many people dont like what he says because they have to look at a cold hard truth to do so. They habe to "wake" up.

An interesting video by Dr Judy Wood: Where Did The Towers Go - gives another perspective on 'truth'.
With the advent of the internet and access to information other that what the news provides we now have access to vast amount of information - some hoaxes and others viable. Deciphering what is true and what is sensationalism remains difficult but other perspectives are now accessible. I'd like to know what the truth is, and know that this may never be found.

Ultimately I do think that there is an inherent drive in humanity to get along with each other, to live in communities and societies that work. I do think there are people however that are driven to outshine others or be seen by others as 'important' or visible", regardless of the effect on others.

As for UFOs and aliens. There are vasts amount of information on UFOs. I have not seen any reliable evidence that suggests that they exist. I agree with @Eventhorizon that there are many ways in which reliable evidence can be provided today but no images or videos or concrete evidence has ever been shown. Why evidence on aliens would need to be kept from the public does not make sense to me.

Having said that I am open to the idea that aliens have visited in the distant past. I feel silly in a way to say that it is the large blocks of stone and their movements that lead me to this idea, as well as artworks in the distant past, but this is where it originates.

The local police, the pipeline company and this military security firm were cooperating, using military tactics of surveillance. The DAPL protests were peaceful as far as I know.
