Pretty even between 5 of these...

I think I'd flip the top 5 here upside down, but

You Scored as Utilitarianism

Your life is guided by the principles of Utilitarianism: You seek the greatest good for the greatest number.
“The said truth is that it is the greatest happiness of the greatest number that is the measure of right and wrong.” -Jeremy Bentham
“Whenever the general disposition of the people is such, that each individual regards those only of his interests which are selfish, and does not dwell on, or concern himself for, his share of the general interest, in such a state of things, good government is impossible.” -John Stuart Mill

I found most of these questions hard to answer because I don't believe people "should" or "should not" do things...

I actually think I'm more nihilistic or have more nihilist undertones than this thing accounts for ... I am existentialist *because* I am nihilistic.

I found it easy to go all or nothing on every question. Some of the questions were false dichotomies because third options existed that were not mentioned.

Hm, in reality I'd say it's more mostly utilitarianism, a healthy bit of Kantianism and existentialism mixed in. I chose to take the questions literally and answer them as 'yes' or 'no', which probably explains the even numbers. Should I complain that they don't add up to 100%?

It seems like every ethical philosophy has its strong points; they're all true in their own way, but it's difficult to synthesize the best parts of each into a whole, or apply them in the right circumstances. That aside, I have to note that we largely judge the 'correctness' of any ethical philosophy by how well it matches up with what we want to believe anyways. I.e. "That can't be right because it dictates this, which is obviously unethical." Such retroactive judgment seems to invalidate the need for even developing a consistent ethical system in the first place. In the end what is ethical and what is not gets determined internally, for better or worse.
