Several Glossy Ibis and a pair of Black Ducks made their presence known to me today, and what a thrill it was to witness them within 35 to 40 yards of where I was. I noticed I need to make more time to enjoy that I love so much. Check these out, [MENTION=2578]Kgal[/MENTION]!

The wrens are back building a nest in the garage.
I must remember to keep the side door open for them.
They are one of my favorite birds. They eat bugs, hop and flit with alacrity, and sing to each other all the time.

My grass seems to droop when I cut it, like a dog's ears after being told it's being left alone for a week.
I noticed that when I heard the howling of the coyote/wild dog pack a few hills away - I thought of the sound of Reavers coming. For a few seconds I wondered what it might have been like to have a pack of people on a witch hunt ...coming for me.
