lol, I never thought I will find someone in here who liked something about fruits basket lol.

Berserk (http://manga.animea.net/berserk.html)
Naruto
Gantz

1st set focuses on story

Bleach
SoulEater
One Piece

The 2nd set are more of your for fun animes with cool super powers.

All these mangas can be found on http://www.onemanga.com/ except berserk, which I provided the link for.

On onemanga.com if you scroll down a bit and look on the right hand side you'll see "Top Manga". This is a top count of the most viewed mangas.

Berserk would be top on the list except it was removed from onemanga.com due to darkhorse comics threatening a law suit.

Berserk is the oldest of all the mangas on these sites (started in 1988 and still continuing) and it's art is also the highest quality of all mangas on these sites. Basically in the manga world Berserk is a big deal. It's also known for ultra violence, demons, magic, etc as well as a epic story line.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berserk_(manga))

As you know most animes start off as manga first, A lot of these top mangas were made into animes. Some of which are still running and coming out with new episodes (Naruto, Bleach, Soul Eater, Etc).

For my personal recommendation

Last Exile - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Last_Exile
Ergo Proxy - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ergo_Proxy
Speed Grapher - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_Grapher
Naruto - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naruto
Cowboy Bebop - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboy_bebop (who can ever forget this one?)
Serial Experiments Lain - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_Experiments_Lain

Example of the Art Quality of Berserk

Chobits is pretty good, it's funny and chii is always doing cute things and i'm sure many infjs can sympathise with the main character. I watched it not expecting to get interested in it, and i was surprised. Eyeshield 21 surprised me as well since its an anime about football and i never was really interested in football before. I got up to episode 41 of that one so far.

Anyways on the subject of good animes. You can find a bunch here

http://www.animeseason.com

Though all of them are subbed and some series are titled by their japanese name.

I highly recommend Fullmetal Alchemist (Hagane No Renkinjutsushi) -- the new one, episodes are still coming out. Some other series worth watching
Death Note (an exciting cat and mouse thriller about a person who can kill people by writing their names in a note book and a detective who is trying to hunt him down)
.hack//sign (its about a MMORPG which causes some players to fall into comas, the characters search for the cause of it from within the game's colorful world)
Code Geass (an anime about a team of underdogs led by the mysterious and brilliant 'Zero' who try to take down an empire which is oppressing the people, has mecha battles, its 2 seasons long and a long watch, but the ending is epic and lelouche is on the same level of brilliance as L and Kira from Death Note.)

i used to be REALLY into anime/manga..

but it died....

however, <b>After School Nightmare</b> is amazingly good.... not many people know about it.. but it's pretty awesome.

Gantz is good.
and Death Note.

everything else i've gotten bored with.

I highly recommend Sailor Moon. I'm also a big fan of The Record of lodoss war series.

I quite like Shaman king, however its an unfinished series. I'm still yet to read more.

Death Note and Code Geass are awesome! I've seen the whole serious at least twice.

There's another animation series called "Little Ninja" but they haven't uploaded more of the chapters, but it has promise to be a good series.
