This reminds of this election, too. It seems to be a persistent issue...
I find this accusation by the media funny. Of the two Putin would have wanted Hillary in office so that he could continue to do whatever he liked in the world with no consequences.
I want people to stop using the terms "alt-right", and "Neo-Nazi", and instead I want people to use the term "fascist". This is both an intellectual and personal preference, and I realise that it will not necessarily be taken up by others. It's just that I've learned a great appreciation of controlled vocabularies, and as a preferred term, I think "fascist" has a lot going for it.

Seriously you see hate ? I am just clowning. I don't have the energy or inclination for hate but thanks for asking. Truth ? i think the false division between right and left is mostly absurd. Left wing extremists are more like right wing extremists, than centre or centre left people like me. and vice versa.
when I was a union rep? I got more grief from 'nutcase' socialists for being 'right wing' than my managers (tho I got plenty of grief from them too). Some people buy into 'beliefs' they put aside any rational thought and resort to personal abuse. It's ludicrous but that's 'planet earth'.
I was only kidding you about the 'angry flirting' so if that upset it was unintentional and I apologize. About politics, I guess I like to see things like a list of technical problems. Build the right shaped rocket, get the right fuel, get a good launch system and get the maths 'within the margins' it will probably work. Fail to do that ? All the prayers and arguments and politics won't make any difference. ultimately thats how I see it.
You can give everyone a hug, or you can make sure they have housing, food, jobs and clean water to drink. That's my "ism".
I think it was just a misunderstanding. You have more kindness and goodness in you than I think most human beings are capable of. If anything, I think maybe everything you're going through might be giving your words an edge they don't normally carry, but I don't see any hate, let alone "a lot." I think you're fine, James.

@hush thank you for your kind words. I guess i just don't see myself the way others do, I genuinely don't think my words have an 'edge', to me they're more like a wooly jumper. Warm and potentially irritating to people, but hopefully useful sometimes when it's cold out side.

I've read through some of the after posts. They say only about 40 percent of intent can be conveyed through typed or written word most of the time. I suppose I misinterpreted.
