Would you date a stripper?

Love is love, and if she's perfect for me, I wouldn't take her choice of work into consideration.
I think in general this is a good approach. But deliberately ignoring the implications, and how likely it is for her to be perfect for you to begin with, is not fully addressing the topic here.

The question was "would you date a stripper".
What was I deliberately ignoring? I don't get you.

No. Not because I don't approve of his life, but because relationship with someone like that wouldn't last.

Sure.

There was a time when I might have said no without much hesitation, but when I think about it, that would have come from my own prejudice based on stereotypes about the “kind of person” that strippers “are”.

The problem inherent in the OP’s question is with seeing yourself as dating an occupation and not the actual person.
