Let's talk about women in powerplay

I still don't think anyone has really figured out where childrearing belongs in the female life cycle.

Women have evolved to be entirely dependent upon men during this period, and men have evolved to be entirely devoted to them.

This hasn't been the case for about a century and we're losing our minds over it.
Hence, society must define work if we really want to be a brick square of systemic logic over here but I doubt it would be encompassing.

Lol so is marriage part of this economic model, then?

Did anybody oppressed you not to educate your self??
LOoOooool! You speak with so much privellege.

Not me, I had a feminist mother. My mother, yes. My grandfather didn't send her to engineering school simply because she was a girl.

You should get an education on the hardships of women.

Of course. Literally 'the household'.

It's a bizarre state of affairs that modern economics doesn't really account for the absolute centrality of childrearing in human life.

The game theoretic models utilised by economics presume that the accumulation of wealth is the principal life-goal of every human being, but it simply isn't. That's just a sideshow supporting the real goal, which is successful procreation.

Uhuh. Hence the demise of capitalism and the paramount importance of sustainable and encompassing economic models. This is why I love urban and regional planning.

I know what you mean.

Economics is a perversion of the systems we ought to be creating.

Yep. Sustainable economic models work on incorporating genders because it adds value and detail to the mix. The amount of currency we generate from fields of sex and entertainment are largely gender-biased and I'm not saying this is a bad thing.

Feminism is about having a choice. What it fights against are not the boxes of categorization per se but that boxes should not be cages or prisons. We cannot imprison our desires within the fact that we have either a penis or a vagina.

Shame on all this bashing against feminism when you enjoy watching lesbian sex.

Oh well.

In the video its much more explained about the relationship between socialism and feminism.
I have the feeling that americans are a bit confused on this matter

That is absolutely not a qualified economist or sociologist.

And you don't have any privilege??
Your grandfather was an asshole, my grandfather educate his daughters, without the label of feminism just because of his love and understanding for the needs

So give again a fucking brake please.
I don't see any comment on the link that i post for you and i feel that you are pretty much triggered so as you are chained in a cave from the oppressed patriarchy that we have

What i care is the facts, he is a public speaker, he knows something.
Tomorrow ill find a sociologist that i have in mind, now i go to bed, its pretty much late here

Careerism seems pointless regardless of gender unless you're actually passionate about your work.

I can't believe that the highest thing someone might want to aspire to be is some paper pushing drone. Still if it's what anyone wants they should have the right to do it. Seems strange to me is all.

I'm not going to listen to an internet provocateur who doesn't even have a bachelor's degree ramble on about topics that he doesn't understand and isn't remotely qualified to discuss as if he's some sort of expert.

He's a completely unqualified public-speaker and is absolutely not an intellectual.

Can't we all just get along for the sake of the children :)?

Some incoherent thoughts (in a rush now, but felt like I had to have my say...):

I think the world thrives on order. The family structure is fundamental to that order.

If a woman feels that being a wife and mother is oppressive and chains her down, that's her thing. It's a shame, though, and I think that happens when people see women being oppressed in that role. But women can be oppressed in any role.

This idea that traditional feminine roles are inherently oppressive seems to be conflated with other feminist ideas. (I have anecdotal evidence only, and I see it's clearly not the opinion of many here.)

If a man loves a woman in a healthy way, he would support her desire to follow her dreams. He would want her to feel happy and fulfilled.

Personally, I am very glad to be a woman, thank you very much :).

You get what you give,
good night, till tomorrow

There's a lot of impact and world changing hoped for behind the paper pushing.
