INTfJ vs. INFtJ

But how would the INFj in socionics correlate with INFJ in MBTI? If it's possible to make a comparison, what type would the INFj in Socionics be in MBTI?

Socionics inverts their J and P functions for Introverts.

INFj is Fi, Ne, Si, Te which corresponds to INFP in MBTI.
INFp is Ni, Fe, Ti, Se which corresponds to INFJ in MBTI.

The reason that Socionics does this (aside from avoiding being sued) is to highlight the dominant function as a J or P function. Fi is a J function and Ni is a P function. In socionics, the last letter will always indicate the preference of the dominant function. In the case of extroverts, the functions match the MBTI model, and therefore they use all capital letters. For example, ENFJ in Socionics is listed the same as in MBTI and corresponds to the same functions (Fe, Ni, Se, and Ti).

The MBTI J/P axis declares the nature of the extroverted function (regardless if it is the dominant or secondary function in the pair). For example, INFJ is considered a J function because the extroverted function in the dominant and secondary pair is Fe. This declaration is based on the assumption that others will see the extroverted function most clearly manifested in behavior - and is the reason why Jungian archetype theory favors this model over the Socionics approach.

For disambiguation, you may notice that sometimes people put upper and lower case letters in their MBTI Description in the sidebar. Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with either Socionics or MBTI types mentioned above. It is simply an attempt to illustrate stronger preferences. For example, if I listed myself as an iNFj, then I'd be stating that my i and j preferences are slight, while my N anf F preferences are strong. I hope that clears things up.

Thank you Gloomy and Von Hase.

If you've been typed by the MBTI as INFJ, but yet you have cognitive or other types of mental tests which type you as INTJ, it can be a little bit confusing.

So, for those who have high Ni + Ti cognitively, and/or typing INFJ on personality tests, how do you reconcile this disparity in cognitive/personality typing?

Those who're versed in typing and functions are free to respond but please explain in simple terms, and avoid overuse of typological vocab.

As I stated before, and I will state again, you very much strike me as an INTJ. I just have a hunch.

I vote INTJ.

I vote INTJ.

Why? Explain your reasoning.

To make it even more confusing, this is my typical cognitive function order:

Ni > Ne > Fi=Ti > Te=Fe > Si > Se

I appear to be able to switch between the 4 types and I always tested as different types on different MBTI tests:

INTJ - Ni, Te
INFJ - Ni, Fe
INTP - Ti, Ne
INFP - Fi, Ne

These are my recent test scores and I have an even split between thinking and feeling functions, as expected.

Ni - 24
Ne - 23
Fi - 20
Ti - 20
Te - 15
Fe - 15
Si - 12
Se - 11

Yep, I share your confusion.

On my test I always get Si and Ti as my WORST. My absolute highest score is always Fi, followed by Ni and 3rd, Fe.

So, recap:

Best (highest) functions: Fi, Ni, Fe.
Worst functions: Ti, Si.

Best:

Feeling & Intuition; Worst: Sensing & Thinking.

What does this say about me? If I were to be considered for types (hypothetically): INTJ, INFP, and INFJ... what do these scores conclude?
