INFJ Singers

Just recently the industry has managed to wrap fluff into convincing packaging though.
Just recently, huh :m190: BTW what is she doing in my living room?!!?
I just can't do Florence and the Machine. I can't stand her voice and her face. I really tried, but I could only make it through the first few seconds. I'm very particular in this way. The lyrics are lovely though.

Well it's a reoccurring theme, but more "in vogue" at times. Always in vogue with me. I get what you mean about Florence. I actually didn't like her initially but was won entirely over. It was at first too mainstreamy, but hell...I'm no puritan. :) Sometimes it takes a while to get over a style and sometimes a lifetime is not enough.

This has spiritual overtones. They are mormons.

Carl Jung was fascinated by astrology and intrigued by the many occurrences of seeming accuracy in its rich literature. The fact is he structured his theory of personality types (the MBTI) on it.
Also his theory of Synchronicty is inline with those forces that astrology seeks to use.

I was actually comparing some sidereal birthcharts I had with these peoples MBTI type in regards to which elements are prominent and so far I'm pretty taken by the results. I mean N fire, S earth, T air, F water. I personally have high N, low S, almost equal F and T and this actually corresponds to my sidereal natalchart, strangely enough. So far 3 others yilded the same result.

Don't worry about it. I also suffer from smartassitis. It' s a terrible lifelong affliction. ;D

So I'm writing a song that's starting go in the same direction this one...

I heard this song on the radio once before and I just watched the video for the first time ever. I'm thinking INFJ based on the expression in his eyes, the lyrics and how his voice bares everything. I don't know where to start with this man. First of all, why is it that he and his wife never age and just get hotter?! Also, I love how he put out a 90's style 'glamour shots' video (which could have just compromised of the shower scene IMO). I mean, what kind of man puts out such a 'bare your heart' song these days anyways?! And I mean man, not like Bruno Mars. Not that I have anything against Bruno Mars.

Here's a scandinavian songstress someone sent a video of to me. It's not in english but how INFJ is this? :)

Regardless of whether or not you like her, I think Lady Gaga is clearly an INFJ. At first she seems extroverted, although many INFJ's may initially seem extroverted due to our extroverted feeling. From the way she interviews I can see that she is clearly introverted and reserved. Creative and experimental with her music and fashion, she is obviously an N. She is clearly an F because of her convictions towards her own value system and standing for what she believes in, including gay rights among other things. Her final function is probably a J because she is ambitious and determined, although this function I am the least certain about...

What do you think?

I think she's INFJ as well. I don't know why, I just do. Also, it's probably been mentioned, but Leonard Cohen is very INFJ.

I think Lady Gaga's auxiliary Fe is quite easy to place, for those who have actually listened to her speak. Which narrows it down to IXFJ, and we all know which one is more likely.

I have always loved tori amos and kate bush and i think atleast kate is infj, she just seems like one.(some claim tori to be infp)
they both make sad things extreamly beautiful and they have great emotional intelligense :)

Robert Smith was mentioned, and he really appears to be INFJ to me, too. I've read a biography about The Cure, and he basically made the band's decisions because people trusted him to be the best for a job. When the band first started, under a different name, he wasn't even the singer. He only took up the job when the first singer quit. It's very INFJ-sounding to take up a role critical for success that wasn't a first choice. This interview shows his personality well.
