  • Thank you very much! I had a wonderful birthday, it was indeed quiet and peaceful, everything I wanted!

Thanks for the compliment. I think I will probably be keeping this avatar for a bit.
By the way in response to a comment you sent me through this post, you're referring to the part about making goals that have "already been accomplished"? I got that from Wayne Dyer ;-) In case you're interested in reading more
Thanks for the comment! It's not really a secret, just joking. I find it a bit silly to like countries anymore. When I was little it was different and then it made more sense, and now I still keep my affections.
Your young and you have lived your life in one place I assume. I've lived in a few place around the us. I actually lived in Indianapolis for two years. I'm back in the Northwest again. The reason I think you should stay is you have a lot better where you are now. Reality is a lot harsher than we would like to think. Its good your idealistic but you need to temper that with reality. The post you made abou the dark side of America thats very common. I hope your trip gives you some good insite to how lucky you truly are.
Thanks PG. Your concern for my feelings is appreciated. I am excited for you and your American adventure. I hope you enjoy it here. There is good and bad, like in any place. The midwest is the best though; full of kind and caring people.
Well dude we are running behind, I need your vows TODAY.

Not only that, but we still have to get into a fight and then make up- tomorrow is the end of our reign so I might have to extend the date because we've been slacking off, toots.
Ok. I'm viewing it carefully, though. If conversations start cross referencing the previous thread I might have to shut your thread down, too.
Ok...but do be careful when you do that, okay? I don't want the fight to jump from one thread to another.
Because we have deeply held beliefs, dear. It's just the way we are. Copy your thoughts in Word or another document reader and save 'em for later. It probably won't open today.
It might be a while, PG. There's just too much nonsense going on at the moment.
Don't be too pressured :D It all depends on where you go and what you want to see. Yeah, there's bad parts. But the good parts are probably just what you're looking for, and that's what I love about the US. It's all about attitude, really.
Indiana is a good place (I'm from Michigan, basically the same) but once you get the chance, explore the country! It's such a big country with so many different people and climates. Go visit the big cities in the east, soak up some sun in the south, and check out the amazing views out west in the Rocky Mountains! You're going to love it!

And I'm not sure how it works in Indiana, but if you are planning on getting a license, if you aren't 18 at the time you have to go through drivers training. In Michigan that takes about 6 months. If you have to take drivers training, start it right away! (If you're 18, in Michigan at least, you can just go and take the test without any training)
    Thanks for the rep!

And I know you're going to love it here. That's great that you have such a long visa! (Mid-west is the place to be, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana are great IMO).
I hope you didn't get the impression that I don't like America or something. I love it and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. There are things I'm not happy with but that's what's great about America. We can work to change what we aren't happy with.
New avatar = super-cute! Love b&w, and love high brightness.

You remind of these old movie diva stars like Brigitte Bardot...
Eh, people tend to blow things out of proportion. Yeah, there are a lot of things going on in the world and a lot of things aren't good, but realistically, you can still enjoy life here :B
