As you all know, or should know, there is a full stop in the negotiations in the Climate Change conference in Copenhagen.

Or that is what we are led to believe.

Tomorrow President Obama will arrive in Copenhagen as the knight in shining armor, bringing the nations together and help bring forth an agreement in the last minute. Almost like a bad hollywood movie

As a result, the ignorant masses will eat it up like candy and praise Obama as nearly a savior of mankind, unaware that the issue at hand has been settled for weeks or even months, and Copenhagen is meerly for show.

"Give them bread and circuses and they will never revolt"

The best part is, you don't have to wait long to find out if I'm full of bullshit, as the conference is over in less than 24 hours.

lol - good call.

I couldn't agree more.

Okay...well I still don't think they'll reach an agreement at all and if they do it won't stick with the governments back home. Nothing will change until there is a true climate change catastrophe.

That said, I am very glad climate change is on the minds of people/governments....to what degree it is or isn't real doesn't matter so much. When significant science points to a potential threat, it is good for the world community to take a good hard look at it and for substantial debate to ensue. If the threat is shown to be real....great. If not...great. But at least it is out in the open. For an issue like this to move forward in time without significant debate seems illogical...for it not to be so would be creepy regardless of what side of the debate one is on.

Maybe by the next U.N. conference things will look different.

My favorite part was when Hugo Commie Chavez got up and gave a 20 minute speech condemning capitalism and proclaiming that the only way to save the "climate" is with socialism to grand standing applause.

Its pretty obvious what this dog and pony show is all about.
