Music that speak directly to your heart

Sigur Ros are pretty good, I used to listen to the second song all the time and yes it is very sad.

Yep it's me Stone, welcome back Marty.

Yeah it is Cash, I've always loved that video, so powerful and so much meaning. It is so beautiful and sad, gives me chills every time.

That Doves song is one that somehow ended up on my ipod and I grew to love it. You are posting very meaningful songs to me! Well done. :D

Congrat's on your wedding too.I just spotted the thread. Hope married life is treating you well!

I like this one techno song the lyrics are "Dont hold back... is there anybody out there feeling something?" it does it like 20 times but it expresses what i feel so well. "Please dont hold back ur.. if there is anyonebody out there. Im calling please... dont hold back... if theres anybody out there. "

My ENFJ girlfreind sang this to me, my answer was a symbolic call that i too was searching for someone like me.

I have a different taste in music, most people have no idea what Trip-Hop is!

My favorite band, Dead Can Dance, is outside of my genre bubble, but I love them soooo much. Here are some of my favorite songs that really speak to me. I should also note, I could usually care less about the lyrics to a song. What matters to me is the sound.

Dead Can Dance - Enigma of the Absoult

Dead Can Dance - Song of the Stars
(I could list 100000 by DcD but these give the best idea)

Laika - Girl Without Hands
Laika takes me to another world... I love these guys so much

Artemis - Sync or Swim
Who wants to go into space?

Leila - From Before... What?
Beautiful Sillyness!

Seefeel - Moodswing
Drift away...

Boards of Canada - Sunshine Recorder
Trip

Puracane - Dogs
Violins can be powerful

The Knife - You Make Me Like Charity
Simply Alien

I could go on for a lot longer, but that is more then enough!

Apmosphere This is a good song

He'll take a coffee and a pack of cigarettes when you have a minute
Handle it. Paid up. The change, you can keep it
He's a sucker for the morning smile and summer cleavage
If you knew him better he'd ask for some time
Cause he's looking for a reservoir to empty his mind
And there's only so much he can put in a song
Gotta talk to somebody who can tell him what the hell is wrong

Here is one too by Classified- all about you

Apocalyptica.

First time I listened to "Worlds Collide", the first two tracks of it at least, I said "This is the soundtrack of my mind."

Ooooh, there's about five billion I could choose from...

Here's a pretty good one: Isotope 217 - La Jetee

When I listen to it I hear certain aspects of INFJness... introversion, a quiet and gentle subtlety that masks a deep complexity, it's kind of sad but at the same time kind of hopeful...

(Please try and listen on something other than computer speakers... unless you have really really good computer speakers... I'm already gutted that I had to post it as an mp3, which degrades the sound quality.)

I'll post more as they come to me.

Apocalyptica.

Same here! The first two and Last Hope.

Which reminds me. This song feels INFJish and methinks others would like:

Apocalyptica - Ruska

Pachelbel's Canon
I like a lot of 80's ballads and classic rock. Nothing after 2002. What's up with EMO?

I usually don't respond to the lyrics of a song as much as I do to the actual music, but every once in a while I'll hear some that I really dig...

Gregory And The Hawk "Stone Wall Stone Fence"

Big open land,
you hold the weight of the air in your hands

Big open air,
you feel the tickle of the trees on your chest

And why'd you go and waste it?

The things that you know
are making you a
stone wall, stone fence

Your stories so old you just tend to keep them

Long winding road,
you've got a secret but you won't share it
