So, I'm doing an integral bee Thursday night.
Help me prep!

Derivative- essentially the slope of the line tangent to a graph at any point. So the f'(x) of y=x is 1 since the slope of y=x is always 1.

Integral- just the opposite. It is the area under the curve of a graph between certain x values. It's just an area formula.

This is how we can get velocity and acceleration from displacement data and vice versa.
 
Oh wait, I think I did some of that back in high school. I've not been in math for almost 3 and a half years now, haha.

or any triple integrals of transcendental functions such as you might get in electromagnetic wave theory.
