Corona / Wuhan virus

I think it might be surprising to contemporaries that the modern United States has fallen so far behind the rest of the developed world in these liberties.
That's a very fancy way of saying the U.S. is fucked, and it is. Again, no offense to Americans.

These liberties have been valuable and still are but we really can't rally against a virus using our free speech now, can we? I think the most valuable assets of the world nowadays should be flexibility and adaptability. It all really depends on the demon we're fighting against.

Ah. My head hurts. So are they planning to shoot bullets on the virus until it ricochets to their heads? America is headed for a collapse and it's all because of the refusal to recognize that capitalism, especially amoral capitalism, is flawed and suicidal. Get out of that country while you still have the chance. It will be one of the world's greatest liabilities soon. What goes up often goes down and America has been up for a while, so good luck with the mathematical trajectory of that. No offense.

If I may speak freely, this is clearly a phase of denial. The American people are finding it hard to accept that such a small non-being is crippling its high and mighty first world stature. They should remember that David killed Goliath and COVID19 might as well be the David of 2020. Do they really need to see the bodies before they realized they're ultimately fucked? I listened to Trump a while ago, I think the old man is just confused.
I don't think most Americans agree with Trump or even like him, sadly. I think most intelligent Americans are very angry that he isn't taking it seriously.. He is the perfect example of pride going before the fall. He isn't the brightest bulb in the pack.

That's why I find it so confusing that he even got elected :(

That makes two of us.. :/

Clinton was hated more and Trump was the Anti-Establishment vote (yes, irony is real but Clinton is FAR more establishment).

Trump ran on a drain the swamp platform which he did, only if you drain a swamp the aligators kinda run the show.

To be fair not even Trump expected Trump to win. But Clinton wanted to be crowned and if there is one thing Americans hate its being ruled by a Monarch.

:laughing::laughing:

You're so right

Indeed. Its why I predict Biden could actually give Trump a run for his money.

He has all the positive attributes of Clinton but without the entitlement or baggage. And he's a reset button back to the Obama era which was less partisan than the current era.

Americans as a rule are growing exhausted of the constant he said she said of politics and a nice boring Joe Biden could be perfect.

Sure, if you're into that sort of thing
(I don't like either party, they are corrupt and just two sides of the same coin to me)

Agree with it or not, Biden isn't Trump and is different on -

1) Climate Change
2) Minority Protections
3) Worker's Rights
4) Healthcare and insurance
5) International Relations

I know he may not be exactly what you want but its beyond even your usual hyperbole to say Trump and Biden are basically the same thing.

Biden and Bush maybe, but Trump isn't Bush. Trump is in a very different league.

The Climate and related issues are too important to get hung up perfection. We can have the socialist revolution AFTER we've stabilised the planet because its a bit hard to have a revolution when we can't breath the air.

The tale of two evils.

My question is, since when did becoming president become a paid for beauty/ popularity contest? I'm of the thought that Americans need to get back to the bones of being an Anerican and stop all the other nonsense.

One only has to be over 35 and a natural citizen to be president...meaning anyone could run in the election... rich folks made it into a game of who has the deepest piggy bank.

The elite keep screwing around and they'll have to burn their money to stay warm at night while they war amongst each other to rule their tent cities. :(

I disagree. We all know if the US does ever have a revolution they'll screw it up and become a nightmarish dystopia and, frankly, I think scary gas masks are an essential part of that.
