Things seemed have moved at a rapid pace. The police have made numerous arrests and thankfully seem to believe they've made very significant progress. By pure coincidence, I got talking to a friend of a friend. I knew he was a police officer, but I didn't know he was a former marksman.
He said the police had been tired and stressed (who knew?) but like the doctors and nurses, had been lifted by support from the public and across the world. I hope the arrests made, can stop these idiots, and help avert further attacks globally.
Here in the UK, whatever people may want to say about politicians, we have some very dedicated people, police, medical staff, committed to protecting us. In that respect we're very lucky.
