    :\ I'm drawing a blank coming up with artist names off the top of my head. I guess I tend to pay attention to songs more than I do names, and I flip through stations constantly looking for something that catches my ear. I can say I like hearing Adam Lambert, Lady Gaga, there's a song by Akon that's good.... um, lol, that's awful recall :p. How about you, any favourites?

    I listen to the radio too, a ton, when I'm driving or at the gym, and the music played is VERY limited. Granted, I listen to the most popular stations which are pop around here, and they simply repeat the same top songs until a new song hits the charts, which they then proceed to repeat and the cycle continues. Youtube and 'word' of mouth has been a godsend for finding new music. :)

    I don't usually listen to orchestral or instrumental music. Occasionally I'll find an artist or song that appeals to me, like Ludovico, but other than that I'm not aware of other artists. Have you checked out the instrumental music thread? You might find some great pieces there as well. :D

    The forums are good, yet I got like 6/7 infractions thingies at at 7 you get perma-banned. I got all of them for little jokes that were even smaller than "There's a guy who got his left side all cut off. But now he's all right" HAHAHAHA but less funny hehe

    And yep everyone's less polite with siblings :p Yet I'm an only child, so I have no one to annoy D:

    I typically find music completely randomly to the point where I really can't trace my steps :p or by hearing of it through someone else. That's how I found Ludovico's music. Someone had posted a montage set to his music and all else followed suit. :)

    Have you heard of Yiruma or Susan Ciani? Yiruma is purely piano, from what I've heard. Susan might have some vocal pieces, but she has at least a few non-vocal that feature the piano. I think those are the only two I know of.

    I love moments like those. :) *nods* Melody to me is like the heart/soul of the music. Technique is useful, but on its own it definitely has its limits.

    I listened to Love Is a Mystery. I don't know if it's the strings or the melody itself, but *shrugs* I just can't get into it. I don't mind some other pieces that are paired with the strings, but I agree, his piano playing is intimate and complete on its own. Maybe somewhat like an introvert enjoying their solitude? :p

    Are you looking for other piano solos by him or by other artists?

    I tried downloaded a N64 emulator once, I played SSB only lol... I'm going to try Zelda now :D Wich one is easier/more fun? :p

    Yea I live in Quebec and I'm french too =P... most of people speak french yet there are random english people. Most of things like store descriptions are written in french, and poutine is really good xP And it's nothing really different than living in USA (assuming you live there), there's just no supersize size in McDonalds :D

    Thanks! Indeed. If you liked "I giorni", he (Ludovico Einaudi) has other pieces on youtube of that style. Naturally I'm biased :p but I think they're quite good. :)

    The first time I played mario was on the game boy advance, since I got into video games too late apparently. No SNES nostalgia for me. Bleh. Not fair =O

    Is Mario your favorite game? :p Legend of Zelda is good too, but way too hard. D:

    Well, I'm not much of a drummer anymore. But I highly suggest looking up on Akira Jimbo, hes epic on so many different levels. My younger brother is a professional drummer and he has a truckload of drummers that he follows, I'll have to ask him for names and get back to you on that.
    Hard times? Its something that every human goes through, but its always nice to hear from other people that can relate.
