  • Absolutely - and that's the biggest pain in the butt, when your supervisor or what have you doesn't know what they're doing and everything's in constant flux. I like change, when it's slow and I have a chance to adjust. But I hate it when directions aren't consistent. :p I'm with you, m'dear. Absolutely with you 100%.
    Y'know, I think that kind of situation happens to a lot of folks. I know it's particularly irritating to me, when a boss tells me one thing and does another...but it's more because I'm not sure how to act. I'm not mad that we have separate rules, but I'm upset if they taught me how to do something and suddenly it's not "right" anymore. :p
    Hmm. I took it as something rather different, and considering Barnabas's follow-ups, it appears he did not mean it that way.
    I don't see how the matter of choice makes the analogy any less valid. They are both aspects of one's identity that influence qualification for certain topics. The point is that being in the minority does not necessitate silence.

    The same, I think. I am actually looking forward to a New Year this time around. Not that I dreaded them or anything before, I was just sort of indifferent.
