For some reasons soft songs like ones by: Dido; like "thank you", "white flag". Even though some of them are sad sounding they always seem to have a lot of hope in them and they don't drag me too quickly out of my melancholic ways. Then I switch to something really happy like "walkin on sunshie" or some song like that.

    A Few Examples

These two conter-intuitivly make me feel better. It causes me to "feel more" and as such makes me outwardly vent my emotions (by crying or just feeling more intensely) which later on calms me down, and I can think clearly on why I am upset. I like to think it is healthy.

Dido is a fantastic singer (I believe she's INFJ) - I always find something familiar in her music whether I'm happy or sad. The following is a great mood uplifter.

Then songs from Natasha Bedingfield always cheer me up. And if in really pi**ed up mood then System of the Down

It's funny how depressing songs make you feel better. These are mine:

    My absolute fave AIC song

This is a real epic, soothing song. Gives me hope.

I LOVE Dido's song ... "Thank you" ..whether if I'm in a good or sad mood.
Don't know if anyone heard of "lighthouse family"... I love their music too. I listen to their music mostly when I'm sad or upset about something.

Enya is AMAZING too ... just like dido ... I listen to her in either a good or sad mood too.

How about instrumental?! I love yanni ...he's amazing too! :m054:
