Designing Computer Programs, Systems and Encryptions
Tracking down information.
Complete Understanding and Mastery of every Computer Language (and HTML), even proprietary ones.

Housework:
A perfect woman would understand that all housework is to be divided equally. But she must be proficient in the following in case I am unable to perform to my usual capacities.
Cooking. (must be able to cook, but also must understand that cooking relaxes me, it’s my job)
Washing Clothes. (again another of my favourites, but must be able to do unless I cannot)
Everything else WILL be divided equally. If a woman doesn’t understand this she is not perfect.

The Perfect Woman’s Temperament,

I favor INTP, INTJ, INFP and ENTP above all others.

Hobbies:
Bow Hunting.
Camping (in tents, hutchies, under the stars) and Hiking .
Politics.
Sex.
Reading.

Political Views:
First and foremost they cannot remain simply views, the perfect woman would have to act on them, or have a strong desire to act on them.
Liberationist.
Slightly socialist.
Very Imperialistic.
Protectionist (by this I do NOT mean conservative, I mean having a desire to protect small and weak nations. Like the liberationist but with more of a preventative than curing role).
Independent. (blind patriotism to a political party excludes any woman from being perfect)
If she does not fulfill these she should be able to back up her views strongly with a good heated debate

Crime:
If a person has a criminal record they are doing something wrong, they are getting caught. If my perfect woman has committed these crimes I will not fault her, quite the opposite infact. If a woman has not committed these acts that is perfectly fine by me, I will only discount her if she holds these acts in contempt.
Smoked Weed.
Fraud.
Incited a Riot.
Conspiracy to commit a crime.
Treason. (very acceptable if done for the right reasons. The right reasons may range from cash to belief that their nation has earned their disgust)

Sex:
I do not like prudes. I do not find fault with virgins though, as long as they don’t remain virgins.
Any Position Any Time.
My perfect woman will have no problem with being growled out, or sucking me off.

I am very tolerant with regards to religion, as long as she is not pagan, Wicca, fundamentalist or adamant on the whole no sex before marriage.
All she'd need to do is Convert to The Order of Shai Gar

Must want to call the Penguin Iblis, or Tux.

Her Personal Loves:
Me.
Her being faithful to me.

Whiskey.
My spending time with my mates.
Her spending time with her mates.

This needs to be updated.

What I want in a man (or it could be a woman, I don't have much of a preference. I've always looked to men because most women I know don't have the qualities I'm looking for, they seem to be men-traits) is a little bit specific. I want someone who you could definitely call the detached type. I dislike my space being invaded, and have even considered *not* living with my chosen partner because it would cause unnecessary stress upon both of us. My ideal mate is well mannered and somewhat of a logical thinker; he/she may not be the most sensitive person in the world but provides the necessary structure in my life for me to be organized. They might even be a bit of a neat freak or perfectionist who has to have everything a certain way- but they shouldn't have a 'fiery temper', the way that they would react might be to get cold, unchatty quiet...perhaps brood. Their sense of humor would probably be pretty dry or bland, based on facts and figures that the majority of people wouldn't understand. They aren't the touchy feely type and they may even be physically distant, because what is important to them is dependability, reliability, and being secure. They save their money and are not extravagant spender; though, they do like nice things and will wait to purchase something so they can get the best quality. They work hard and enjoy work relatively well- they may be workaholics because they are obsessive about doing something right. They have opinions on things and would like others to have opinions too, and thrive on stimulating conversations. They DO NOT have short attention spans and are sometimes fixated on the details. They are not idealists, but more realistic. They are not the kind of person to have 'wild and crazy ideas' and they do not do 'wild and crazy' things either. They have a firm set of principles and they stick to them. Their mannerism of dress is rather clean because they care much about their appearance, and not so much about how others perceive them but how they think of themselves. They may be picky on the food they eat- they might even be vegans or vegetarians because they are so concerned on what goes into their body and comes out, but they may not be picky all the same- though they do enjoy good food. They have problems expressing their emotions, though they can be sensitive they just display it in a different way- perhaps if you mention that you've had a bad day, that you couldn't get the papers copied that you needed for work because the car broke down and then you had to take a cab - blah blah blah- the person would act rather uninterested in your problems but then turn around and go get the car fixed.

I know that there are people out there who are like this, or quite similar, and despite the continuous 'lower your expectations' that I get from many people, I refuse! I am looking for a specific type of person, and when I find this person I will be satisfied for the years to come.

It's called the INTJ forum :D

You're right though. There's no reason you should lower your expectations if you know what you need.

That's what I keep telling people! But my friends are dense, and my family does not listen. The only problem I think about like INTJ's is that during this age period they spend all of their time doing geeky computer things or being obsessed with a particular topic. Common ones are, but are not limited to:

Anime [yay! The most boring thing in the world. Their lips don't even line up =/ Stupid Japanese cartoons]

Computer Programming [ Which I don't understand...]

Sports teams [ Which not only do I not understand, I can't even play them! At least I can operate a computer.]

It will be better when they get older, I guess. :spider:

Teenagers are... Mhh.. Well, you know. I've never met an INTJ teen actually, but they would probably be either very arrogant and/or stuck in their obsession, no (in a "complete withdrawal from the world" way)?

I'm sure it will be better as time goes. I would say find someone a fair bit older but there might be legal problems :D

INTJs care about sports teams? Since when?

Sure they do, why wouldn't they? Imagine, you're a 15, 16 year old who has a high interest in details, strategy, and keeping yourself in shape. Of course I've seen INTJ's on the sporty side. Maybe they grow out of it when they get older, but I've seen them, yep yep. And a lot of INTJ's can be artistically gifted at drawing because they are so precise. Whereas, they are not very creative they can do still life magically. And aren't they highly mathematical? I couldn't solve a math problem if my life depended on it. Even 2+2 gives me difficulties sometimes. INTJ's however.....geniuses

edit : to come back to the main topic. Here is what I wrote in my diary a while ago :

Qualities I look for in a guy :
- independent-minded
- intelligent
- optimistic
- (self) confident
- inspired

option : extrovert, though I'm not sure yet whether it is a pre-requisite, or even a quality. But I need someone who's at ease with people, who doesn't get "scared" by them like me. And definitely not clingy. Maybe to make socializing easier?. Also, charismatic but it goes with the rest naturally I think.

I'm glad you say that because dating some older is actually a TERRIBLE idea. I love watching my friends that are my age who often have difficulties understanding what I'm talking about date 23-year old men who are college drops outs and work at McDonalds. Not that occupation matters- but, come on, at least have some ambition! Men use teenage girls for SEX and I have no interest in sex whatsoever so I'm just fine waiting, and not being as ridiculously senseless as my peers.

I love to watch them draw. It fascinates me, really; they get so consumed. I wish I could draw like that.

What I meant is that you were more likely to find mature people amongst older guys than in high school. Guys date teens for sex and not for a proper relationship, yes, but if you're intelligent enough you won't get involved with those guys. Not all older guys are like that. For example a girl I knew in high school - she might have been INFJ actually - started dating her physics teacher when she was 16 (he must have been about 25 maybe) and they're still together after four or five years - because he dated her for what she actually was.

Yes, I see your point and I do agree. The only reason I wouldn't date someone older is because I still feel I am somewhat of a child and don't think I'd be able to handle such an age gap. So, I guess I've decided the only thing I can do is wait until the people around me mature....perhaps that will take years and I know that many people NEVER grow up, but I have hope. Even if I were able to handle an age gap like that my parents would not tolerate it, I just know it >.<

I hate being a teenager.

In observation mode, I've noticed that attractive woman just think that is all they have to do be attractive. What a bore for a guy. Using assets is fine with me but not as a crutch. That's just a major turn off. Probably why I have so few women friends. My experience is that they are competitive with me, if not at first then eventually. I hate that and find it a joke and I can't handle them prunning and preening about their looks. I've probably made more female friends on this site then I have probably most of my life, come to think of it. Men don't compete...I digress.

I know this is an old post, but if you get a chance check out The Beauty Myth by Naomi Wolf. Not only is it just an exceptionally interesting read on the power of the media to mold a woman's self-expectations, but it also discusses how women are socially taught and rewarded for seeing each other as competitors and on the 'other side of the line'. She mentions it's why women's magazines do so well - it's one of the few times that we feel it's okay to feel we're all on the same side.

I personally go out of my way to make women feel as comfortable as possible, moreso if there is a man in the vicinity. It's really shameful that our auto response is jealousy and competition. Women have enough problems without sabotage opportunities for simpatico and idea exchange with each other. :/

edit: Oh, and my perfect dude? Worships my body, and desires me as well as admires and loves me. I seem to be able to get either desire OR love, but never at the same time. What's up with that.

I know if the woman is right for me by interacting with her. I have no real list. Except I can't date a chick bigger than me. I am 6'2 265lbs.

Well, if you were looking for chicks bigger than you...you'd have a really small pool of womens to fish from....with most of them being in the WNBA. But hey, at least you'd know what cities to start looking for them....

Well, I happen to be going for another INFJ right now who is very similar to me....:bounce:

The girls I'm most drawn to are outgoing and unorganized (ya not usually a desirable trait). Kind of the natural I/E J/P attraction I guess. Though another INFJ sounds intriguing.

Don't be swayed ^ that's the best kind!

/end personal agenda :D
