Crucial point of order: it's not because people share a religion they share all beliefs and values.

The absence of doubt isn't just the poverty of thinking, it's also the poverty of faith.

Though Christian, I don't believe in Prof. Snape

Your scholars are there trying to make their point as well, or you deny them as well ?
I think when you adopt a myopic point of view your world becomes very small..you will find that there is much wisdom to be found in all spiritual practices. Christianity is no more "true" than Islam. .it is really a matter of the culture you were raised in, or the system of belief you adopted. . what it is you believe.

untruths, if disproved, otherwise they make a fine logical base unlike any religon.
Faith is not intended to be logical. It's purpose is much higher. Walk by faith and not by sight. Lean not on your own understanding.

"Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies. Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe. Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you."

"Faith is the highest passion in a human being. Many in every generation may not come that far, but none comes further."

"Certainty—it lurks at the door of faith and threatens to devour it."

"Without risk, faith is an impossibility."

Soren Kierkegaard

A lot of Christians cannot say they read the Bible, and even less have studied it in detail. That said, have you read the Bible(capital B)?

Tonight represents one of the most important nights in the Bible: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the morning, He was no longer in the tomb. He appeared to several before going to God in Heaven.

Islam is a mockery of Jesus, by what they say about Him. Call Him what Islam may call Him, either you believe Him or not. One just cannot sit on the fence with this, say it never happened, or discredit His actions and words. It basically calls even God and all the Prophets liars. I read yours. We do not empower ourselves: God empowers us. Jesus came and fulfilled the prophecies from long ago. That is not seeing into the future: it is being part of eternal and Heavenly things. The scriptures speak of those things:
2 Corinthians 4:18 King James Version (KJV)
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Key words? Temporal, Eternal

Disclaimer: Not trying to slam anyone. This all makes perfectly good sense for those who would just study it, and maybe ask for help when they question something. God will show you in His Way: you need only listen for Him. Happy Easter.
