This book is actually on my "To Read" List, but that list is pretty long so it might take a while to get to it.

    I always get one of these two results when I do this;

Hmm... not really, pretty hard to hurt my feelings. Actually one of the funniest things about this one is people often miss an 'e' out of my surname... and I don't like it!

I'm still waiting for someone to properly explain what the emotional fortitude of cottage cheese is

Black and white's boring and I speak good, you all have accents :p

Umm... okay. (I must admit, i retook almost all of the questions to their various little branching paths.... this was my first result and though i could have gone with FOTR, this still felt more accurate)

    You're To Kill a Mockingbird!
    by Harper Lee
Perceived as a revolutionary and groundbreaking person, you have changed the minds of many people. While questioning the authority around you, you've also taken a significant amount of flack. But you've had the admirable guts to persevere. There's a weird guy in the neighborhood using dubious means to protect you, but you're pretty sure it's worth it in the end. In the end, it remains unclear to you whether finches and mockingbirds get along in real life.

    You're Brave New World!
    by Aldous Huxley
With an uncanny ability for predicting the future, you are a true psychic. You can see how the world will change and illuminate the fears of future generations. In the world to come, you see the influence of the media, genetic science, drugs, and class warfare. And while all this might make you happy, you claim the right to be unhappy. While pregnancy might seem painful, test tube babies scare you most. You are obsessed with the word "pneumatic".

*goes off to look up the word pneumatic ...... wonders if I'll get obsessed with it*

You're The Catcher in the Rye!
    by J.D. Salinger
You are surrounded by phonies, and boy are you sick of them! In an ongoing struggle to search for a land without phonies, you end up running away from everything, from school to consequences. In this process, you reveal that many people in your life have suffered torments and all you really want to do is catch them as they fall. Perhaps using a baseball mitt. Your biggest fans are infamous psychotics.

St. Augustine was anything but boring! He actually had a pretty wild life. I read Confessions for a college class, and I found it fascinating.

    Interesting.

[FONT=Georgia, Georgia Ref, Book Antiqua, Garamond]You're Mother Night!
    by Kurt Vonnegut

Nobody knows what to believe about you, and you know least of all. You spent most of your time convinced that the ends justify the means, but your means were, well, downright mean! And the end is nigh. Meanwhile all you want is to travel back in time, if not to change, then to just delight in the way it used to be. You are who you pretend to be. Oh yes, you're the great pretender.

[FONT=Georgia, Georgia Ref, Book Antiqua, Garamond]You're Fahrenheit 451!
    by Ray Bradbury
Having wanted to be a firefighter much of your life, you've recently discovered the job wasn't exactly what you were looking for. While ignorance seems like the result of oppression, it all began with people just wanting to be ignorant. As you realize more about the sordid world around you, you decide to watch less TV and work on your memorization skills. Though your memory will save you in the end, don't forget to practice running from dogs as well.

    by Richard Adams
Though many think of you as a bit young, even childish, you're actually incredibly deep and complex. You show people the need to rethink their assumptions, and confront them on everything from how they think to where they build their houses. You might be one of the greatest people of all time. You'd be recognized as such if you weren't always talking about talking rabbits.

    by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Lonely and struggling, you've been around for a very long time. Conflict has filled most of your life and torn apart nearly everyone you know. Yet there is something majestic and even epic about your presence in the world. You love life all the more for having seen its decimation. After all, it takes a village.

You're A Prayer for Owen Meany!
    by John Irving

Despite humble and perhaps literally small beginnings, you inspire faith in almost everyone you know. You are an agent of higher powers, and you manifest this fact in mysterious and loud ways. A sense of destiny pervades your every waking moment, and you prepare with great detail for destiny fulfilled. When you speak, IT SOUNDS LIKE THIS!

    You're Siddhartha!
    by Hermann Hesse
You simply don't know what to believe, but you're willing to try anything once. Western values, Eastern values, hedonism and minimalism, you've spent some time in every camp. But you still don't have any idea what camp you belong in. This makes you an individualist of the highest order, but also really lonely. It's time to chill out under a tree. And realize that at least you believe in ferries.

OK THAT is uncanny. That is one of my favorite books of ever!

ps hehe! "Ferries" - if you've read the book or know much about Buddhism, Hesse, and Jungian psychology, that is funny on several levels. Also the chilling out under the tree!

Conjurs up images of turning flaming arrows into lotus blooms!
