That's a personal opinion and an incorrect correlation. And I still don't know what it is that you find so disgusting.

There is one thing that I love in Slav cuisine - pierogi ^^ (ang. dumplings)
You can eat them with everything! (Like meat, fruits, vegetables)

My great grandfather was a Slav. We're not sure where he was born, but he was born somewhere in the Austria-Hungary Empire before the 1900s. His birth certificate said Austria, but his surname was Slavic. It was Americanized.
