Steppenwolf was insane! Have you read that one?

Edit: I'm sure you've told me before.

I'm going to sound like an arrogant asshole for a second, but I read Siddhartha in sixth grade and then read a good chunk of Hesse in 7th and 8th.
So it's been a while, but yea.

INFJ for sure! :p

Yea at the time I didn't really think about that or wasn't really aware of me being an INFJ but I knew what he was writing was similar to what was in my mind. I don't think I fully understood a lot of it but I got a lot out of what I did read and I felt connected to what he was saying even though I didn't grasp a lot of the depth probably.

I'm not all that surprised, actually @Wyote. I thought about you a lot while reading Siddartha.

And yet a while back I'm pretty sure you called the book "okay", which surprises me now that I've read it, and thought about you reading it.

lol I think it was due to my teacher being way more into it than I was which kind of annoyed me. I found it pretty interesting, but I was also young and found the pacing a bit slow, which I may actually appreciate a little more today. A child's mind is hard to keep entertained for long periods haha.

Ah yeah, at the time I didn't know you were so young when you read the book. It would be interesting to know what you would think now. Only a few days are enough to read it, so consider it and if you do, let me know! ;)

The book really made me feel like seeking to become a sage, though whether a Stoic one like @Rowan Tree remains to be determined.

Personally, I'm more into heterotopias.

I don't go along with Foucault's definition of utopia, and for me, his definition of heterotopia is compatible with various forms of utopia. Have you read Samuel R. Delany Trouble on Triton? Foucaultian utopia.

I have not, but I will take note! I was joking btw, but I would still be very curious to discover a Foucauldian utopia. :)

Should I try to answer the 13 year old one as if I were 13 again or as I am now? Or should I not even bother?
