Like 3 of those I was completely baffeled. A lot of it made perfect sense. That said, I didn't do nearly as good as I wanted to... 
Needless to say, I've only taken 1 year of chorus. THats it.

All I did was use logic the who time. When the music descended, I figured the shapes would. When it repeated the same tune twice I figured it would keep the same shape. When it had a different colour, the tone or instrument would change but the tune repeated. When it added another tune, it would probably add another shape. Sometimes there was too much music going on at once for my to decipher though.
I think the only reason I did good at this was because I could apply logic to the music. Besides that I would have done much worse. Shapes were easy enough though.
