INFJ and paranormal gifted?

Hmm... I don't really know if this is the same thing, but has anybody heard of the Indigo Child Theory? If you haven't you can read about them here (Please note that this site is rather dated though, so some of the information is a bit off, especially about age... Instead about eight they'd be roughly around 15-20 years old.)

There's also Crystal and Rainbow Children, but I don't know. It interests me.

That's all about auras and stuff, right? I've heard some stuff about that, and did a couple tests about it. Whenever I did, I was usually very indigo and blue or something along that line.

He did cheat. On the bottom bar it says 3.00 U bent niet paranormaal begaafd.

Sorry TLM, but "U bent niet paranormaal begaafd" translates as you're NOT paranormally gifted, which did not show up with a perfect score :B

You forget some of us know Dutch.

OH! OH! You cheated.

So...you're a leprechaun?

My point here is that this is a terribly inaccurate litmus for paranormal activity. For starters, it is too easy to do what we've done. (Though, it is kinda funny for a moment).

With respect to intuition, there has to be personal involvement, in my experience. There has to be some element of danger, or some degree of connection between the subject and another person.

Lastly, this manner of intuition is just not controllable. It activates when it activates. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn't. When it does, it is profound.

Personally, I would love to see a large cross sample of people tested against the computer's cards, a stranger looking at cards, and a well known 'intuitive' partner looking at the cards. I'd wager that the numbers will be different in each setting, for those of us who experience these sorts of things.

And by the way, I got 19 out of 60, and 8 out of 25 on the other one... close to 33% on both.

I know; that was actually on purpose, to distinguish from Von Hase's version (which did not include any Dutch result at the bottom).
I wonder now, did Von Hase cheat or not?

Absolutely!

The chances of a score like that are close to the chances of winning a lottery.

I think the selections are not entirely random, at least in my experience. The lowest percentage I got was 18%, and the rest of the time it was between 23% and 29%. (The 18% score was when I just clicked one symbol 60 times.) It appeared that in a given round, a couple of the symbols would be largely ignored, and if I picked up on the preference during the first ten or so picks, I could raise my percentage through the rest of the round. If it were truly random, the average result should be only 20%, and it looks like that is not the case.

The color indigo correlates to the brow chakra which is associated with the intuitive sense. The so called "third eye."

Weird, that's the second time in 2 days that I've heard the term indigo child. I had never heard of it before. I did some reading, and it sounds like a lot of BS to me, but I'm a cynic.

My sister's friend, who thinks she is paranormal, told her that her son is an indigo child and now my sister is into this idea. But her friend also told her that our dead grandfather has been reborn and is now a 5 year old girl living in China.

OK, whatever.

Well, the whole Indigo Theory has to do a lot with reincarnating. Although the Indigo Children have never reincarnated on earth before, so they're a whole new generation of kids. This stems from the 1970s, but has only been really prevalent in the early 1990s.

I don't really know about your grandfather, though. That's pretty much a whole different thing, so don't think much of it.

I just think it's cool to look at. Though I don't know if I really believe it or not.

Some says it has to do with what your Aura is, but others say that this lady, Nancy Anne Tappe is the one that originally brought the term to life and has nothing to do with what aura you have. However, I kind of think it has to do with both.

And yeah, I've taken many tests as well and always come off as Indigo.

It is in Dutch, let me know if you need a translation

I took my time taking the test.

As I was scanning the row of cards from left to right and all over again, I suddenly got a tingling sensation on my right shoulder. So I stopped scanning the cards, and just looked at that one card that made my right shoulder tingle, and I knew that that was the right card. And it was!

So I decided to scan the cards again on my second turn, expecting my shoulder to tingle again. But it didn't. This time, when I looked at one of the cards, my imagination brought me to a 3-dimensional scene where one of the card symbols figured. And that's how I picked the second card correctly.

But on the third pick, I was no longer getting any "signs." :( So I stopped taking the test.

lol!
your intuition is joking with you using a different approach on telling you the right card every time :)

And for some reason, my intuition decided to pull the nastiest prank on me by playing dead the third time around. After which, Ni ran off with Ne for a game of cops and robbers. It was Ne's fault I lost my concentration!!!

These sorts of tests are rubbish for really trying to prove clairvoyance or precognition or even ESP. When will science understand that this sort of phenomenon cant be reproduced in a lab, or with predictable regularity?
I'm rubbsh at those tests, but.. my work is as a psychic who specialises in future prediction, and I think Im rather good at it.
Couple of examples, a lady who was a stranger to me came to me for a reading, I told her her mother had committed suicide by jumping from a bridge. Now, thas not a common event, no cold reading there, that was as specific as it gets, she confirmed that was true, and that it had happened.
Another case of a lady, also a stranger to me, who i told had 2 young babies in spirit, one boy one girl, twins who had only lived for hours, the boy had passed first, the second hours after, She confirmed this to be true.
Future wise, I told a girl who was a jobbing actress that she would get work which involved an octopus,.. now that was freaky, even for me to say. She looked at me as if I were mad, but rang weeks later, to say she'd been offered a job to voice the part of an animated kids character, that was.. an octopus.
So, its possible, and yes, Its something you can turn and off to a certain extent,.. its linked to intuition, but isnt just Ne or Ni at work.. it goes waaay beyond that, into a cetainty.
I 'see' pictures in my mind of past or future events playing out, and I describe them.
Thats how i do it.
no tests needed.

When I was 5 yrs old, on Jun.3 1982 , my dad was killed in a truck wreck. About one week before this fatal wreck, we were at my grannies in the kitchen, he was sitting down at the table, I jumped in his lap face to face and said "your gonna die soon", 5 days later his 2 brothers and sister pulled in my grannies driveway ....she kept me while my dad worked. I was in the back bedroom when I heard a scream...my granny screamed from the news.

She heard the news from them, they didn't tell me nothing, I knew, I was still angry that they didn't tell me. I would say this qualifies for paranormal. Whatever I had as a kid was stronger than whatever I have now. I could hear the phone ring 1 or 2 minutes before it rang. I could hear a knock at the door sometimes 5 minutes before someone knocked.

I could think of a certain odd word and someone would either say that word or I'd hear it on the TV minutes later. I had bad nightnares when I was a kid, waking up with a ring of sweat around my neck. There's something called " Hypnagogic jerk" its an involuntary myoclonic twitch just as the subject is beginning to fall asleep.Physically, hypnic jerks resemble the "jump" made when a person is startled often accompanied by a falling sensation.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypnic_jerk#cite_note-1 It is commonly caused by irregular sleep schedules.

I used to have these twitches constantly as a kid, falling sensations as I was in between sleep and awake. As most people suffer a mild (i.e. non-pathological) epileptic episode regularly (e.g. a hypnogogic jerk the sudden "jolt" that frequently, but not always, occurs just prior to falling asleep), it is conjectured that a similar (mild) neurological aberration occurs in the experience of deja vu, resulting in an erroneous sensation of memory. For someone who regularly has such seizures, there is typically a feeling of deja vu associated with whatever sensations (particularly sounds) may be occurring nearby.

Most of these twitches went away as I got older, most of the paranormal type events went away. I don't hear knocks at the door anymore before they happen, I don't hear phones ringing before they ring. Whatever I had as a kid mellowed down. I still have strange dreams but no more nightmares.I only occasionally have these twitches as I'm trying to sleep.

I don't have any super human ability, I've read about remote viewing, I can't do that, I've tried to pick lottery numbers...I'm just like anyone else. If I did have an ability that I could use for financial gain... you damn right I would use it for personal gain and have a nice house, nice vehicle, with all the trimmings, ect., but I'd still use it to help others.

Any gift I have is only along the lines of feeling others emotions, reading their body language and knowing their mood which many on this forum talk about also being able to do.I never told anyone about hearing things before they happened until after I was grown, as no one takes kids serious anyway and I knew that as a kid.

I've had dreams of seeing someone dressed a certain way, then maybe the next day or week later I would see someone dressed exactly like the person in my dream, that would be an instance of deja vu.
