  • I like concerts, too. I just can't go to them unless I am dedicated to the band that I'm seeing. I tend to become a different person at a show. I get pretty loud and obnoxious. Painful Splits is pretty good. It's Max's side project and when Say Anything toured recently, they sold it at the merch booth.

I never really looked through any forums before, actually. I'm more of a Facebook stalker haha. Stumbled upon this one looking for INFJ/INTJ info.
If they ever come your way, definitely take the opportunity to see them! They play great shows, and if you're in the right area, the atmosphere is just indescribable. I'm usually not one for crowds, but when Say Anything is around, I am in the middle of it and shouting aloud. Haha. I know Max is doing his own tour starting soon, I'm seeing him in Baltimore in February and I'm so excited about it. And I've been listening to All Choked Up a lot recently, it's a great song. Have you listened to the Painful Splits album that Max put out recently? I think it's floating around YouTube.

Yeah, first MBTI forum. Actually, this may be my first forum as well. I recently retook the test because a friend had mentioned it and got INFJ. I'm pretty sure when I took it back in HS I got the same type or was INFP back then. I find it really intriguing and creepily accurate.
Say Anything's one of my favorite bands! I think I've seen them 12 times now since I first found out about them in '05. Have you ever listened to their stuff before Is a Real Boy? Max Bemis is a lyrical genius.

And yeah, I sort of joined on a whim the other week. So far, so good! ^_^
Hmm, now I am curious. I'll make sure to watch next time.
So many movies to watch! So little time to watch them!! :p
Hahahaha! I consider sewing pajama pants an accomplishment. Those seem like a classical collection. I've seen Sweeny Todd and maybe Dawn of the Dead, I don't remember. Maybe, I'll be brave enough and watch the rest one day. :p

    aand you are welcome. =)
Well, they're little things that didn't take time at all, and are just lying around. I did them as practice for other bigger projects, so they have a few faults in them.

Actually, I haven't seen any of those. Good, now I have a few options to pick from. Yeah, I don't like horror movie much. I think the only two I like are Saw I and Hannibal trilogy. Any favorites in that genre?
lol! Aw, I wish I had an older brother.
I made a scarf, working on a laptop sleeve for my netbook, and will be making another had for my sister. I did other decorative things for the apartment, but those don't count. :p

My test went oright, I am officially done. Now I can go and slack off as much I'd like to. Been wanting to watch a good movie that is food for thought. Any recommendations?
See, that would be good if I had them all close to each in date. It would only mean that I need to study through out the semester which doesn't always happen. :D

It's great that you have that bond with your sister. She sounds supportive and caring.

Harmonica! that's awesome. I had a harmonica when I was a kid. Although I didn't know how to play it properly, I loved making music with it. I lost it somewhere when I moved out. As for holidays, I intend to tackle on another knitting project. Perhaps I'll make another hat! hehe

Thanks! I am no where near ready. I keep getting distracted. :p
Soooo...that means you're done your finals? So lucky! My last one is tomorrow, and I am barely finding the energy to keep going. My reserve is about to go dry lol

Aaah, I see. That must have felt very stressful. Sounds like me whenever I am about to take a huge step emotionally. (Sorry, I didn't reply any sooner, I would have found something more comforting to say :/ ) How did she react to you telling her that?

I hope things are okay now. Any exciting plans for the holidays? :D
Sorry to hear that, man :( I think it's a tangible sign that times are bad, and something needs to be done. My neighbors just got broken into, now my parent's house, and there's an open homicide in the apartment complex across the street from mine from this past weekend.

Overall I just feel bad for my little sister who was the first one home to discover what had happened.
Lol, yeah. I literally fought against the odds that day.

=) I too learn from arguing...I like to call it discussion, but many people see it as arguing. I try to watch myself sometimes, because I get to engaged and people find me to be "aggressive"...not very lady-like. lol :p

I have 3 more. They're all next week, so I am spending the days studying. How did your final go? and why do you feel horrible?
hmm . . . not sure if i can help but let me know how it turns out if you don't mind.
Hey Reon, I'm sorry I haven't PMed you yet like i said that I would... also, I was really wanting you to know that if you wanted to talk about what happened last week, that you could do so and that I'd willingly listen. I hope things are getting a little better for you.
Lol!! yes, when she first joined, but it's been a while since she's been on the forums. Hehe, it seems like a luxury, but sometimes not living on campus can be inconvenient. Something happened recently that made me wish I lived in a residence.

lol! Oh the sarcasm. I do it too sometimes, but it gets me in trouble, so I try not to. :p I like that philosophy. Usually when I come to a conclusion about something I stick with it, and argue it until someone presents better arguments and proves me wrong. Reason is, I gave it a lot of thought before making an opinion, so it won't be easy for to back down on it. That too gets me in trouble. :p

Haha, it manifests in your papers? Okay, that is quite awesome actually. Did you ever get in trouble for that one?
Lol, yes. You even spoke to her on the forums. We live together in our home, I don't live in a residence. College is is in the same city and not that far. At college, I usually go to computer labs where everyone is busy doing something and not many people talk. Otherwise, I go to another room at home. :p

I don't see how you are an ass or a troll. Maybe argumentative (I am only assuming here), but that's far from those two. Yeah, smiling changes how people perceive you. I find it intriguing how using your facial muscles differently changes how people react to you. I don't think it's about changing who you are, I like to see it as tapping into the skill and potential that you have. I personally think you are a nice person, but I don't know you in real life so I might not have the right understanding of what impressions you give.

I say :censored:'em and be who you are. :p
