  • I can barely read mine, lol. Don't worry, I bet if you practice, you can write with your left hand and then you can show it off to everyone!
Same, if there worse I'm disappointed but if better I'm surprised and happy :)

Mine is doing that also, but I can't stop daydreaming! That's like asking me not to be me! Also, I heard daydreaming was good for you.

I think also that most INFJs are left handers b/c we are right brained, but I'm not unfortunately and it's as hard as hell to write with my left hand, though I'm better at my backhand in tennis then my forehand and in my backhand I use my left hand along with my right hand. Are you left handed? I think there is a thread about this somewhere.

Sorry, I can ramble a lot, lol.
We must not give into them!

Yeah, I'm not one to do impulsive things either and if I do afterwards I regret it. Sometimes when I see people do things or say they thing differently I think "What? You're different from me?!" lol. I just get shocked that some people don't think like me sometimes lol.

I think you'll enjoy it if it's from someone you truly love.
I hear if it's from someone who you truly love, then it feels "magical". And yeah, it is horrible. Let's fight the power, together! Let's not give into stupid teenage peer pressures!

    The media LIED to us!
That's cool that you want to branch out your musical abilities like that. If you learn violin, I will be completely jealous. Oh and music theory, who needs it? I studied it for years and now I never even use it. You're lucky you can play by ear, it's a real gift! I bet you're a wizz at tickling the ivory.

I've been playing guitar for 5 years now. I've studied Brazilian, jazz, and flamenco guitar. I've also played the sax for 9 years, exclusively studying jazz, with some classical sprinkled in.
While I'm not usually one for the indie folk, I'm listening to him on myspace and I'll give him credit. His music is pretty unique! I like the fact that he is a lyricist and there is some meaning behind it. I usually listen to more contemporary music for the words and his are pretty good. I'll have to listen to more to actually get a full impression but so far so good!

What about you, are you musically active aside from appreciation?

And yeah, a career in jazz=eating 35 cent pot pies for dinner, 7 days a week.
Well thanks to your heads up, I've got a new musician to start listening to.

I love jazz as well. I use to play in a Jazz Combo and in a jazz band at my old high school. At one point in time I had considered studying it in college and perusing it as a career.

Right on! Let the simple minds keep their four chord progressions and leave the greatness of jazz to people like you and me, people who appreciate it for what it is.
Now you've got me all curious about this Andrew Bird character. I googled him quickly and it says he's a world renown "whistlist"???

Jazz and classical are great choices
oh geez! I'm afraid that you might have actually looked up my band and heard our "recordings".
If this is the case, I promise you we're better than those recordings make us sound! That was our first practice in over a year and a half...my solo stuff is a bit more solid, abet different.

    Thanks for the compliment though!
What type of music do you normally listen to?
haha to be honest, I wouldn't even recommend MF.

Let's see, I'd say Big D and the Kid's Table's early albums are all really good. Same with Operation Ivy and Slapstick, but those are all pretty much third wave ska bands.

The Planet Smashers and the Slackers are two pretty solid two-tone ska bands, similar to the Aquabats.
I mean, I guess it helps people, people need clothes and they might as well look good also, but it's not really too necessary. People won't always need designer clothes but they will always need doctors, lawyers (someone to stand up for them, not those dishonest ones, those make me sick), ppl to talk with about their problems, self discovery, and much more. Something really necessary is what I want a career in.
