Youth Going Through Gender Transition Are More At Risk Of Psychiatric Issues

If someone tells you they're something, that is what they are. Who are you to have the ego to tell them otherwise, as if you know that person better than they know themselves?

Okay... I'm the president of the United States... I just claimed it, so it must be real, right?

Why not be someone really cool, if the world is our objective reality oyster now, perhaps Harriet Tubman or Abraham Lincoln? Why not? 😎✨

In the Roman Catholic Church, he is considered the Vicar of Jesus Christ. He's not exactly a minor figure.
Coincidentally, what he is saying reflects exactly, word for word, what is happening in here. On both sides.
I was reluctant to share it, given the climate. But I believe that at this point, the correlation between God and gender identity drops to zero. Anyone who continues to foment gender or religious radicalism, in my eyes, only wants to feed the feud.

Anyone who claimed that the Roman Catholic Church is unhealthy knows nothing about my church and is speaking purely from hearsay. I would stake my life on it. You can know all the prayers in the world, but if you don't know how to apply the precepts of Christ...

Edit:

You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous."
(Matthew 5:43-45)

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone. But I have the impression that many of us are sinners, and anyone who thinks that believing in God makes you a bigot is literally proving to be a bigot themselves, because they see their own point of view as the only valid one. Doesn't imposing one's perspective at all costs remind you of fascism?

1) I'm not Catholic and I have very good reasons for that. As such, the Pope has zero authority over me.
2) The Pope is right that not all morality is based on sexual ethics.
3) Sexual ethics remain relevant because of the way they have eroded the nuclear family, leading to plummeting birthrates across the globe.
4) I am pretty sure the Pope does not condone homosexuality or other sexually deviant identities. He just doesn't focus on them as much as other Christians do.

So, are you implicitly admitting that you are casting the first stone because you are without sin? Answer me this: would Jesus Christ have stoned a trans person?

edit: Liberal politics and religious fanaticism are just two sides of the same coin. Do you realize you're claiming that your personal view of Christianity is superior to a faith that has existed for millennia, the very foundation that your own beliefs are built upon?

I don't want to derail this thread with why I am not Catholic, but the quick version is that they make things obligatory to believe to be saved that have a low probability of being true historically, let alone mentioned in the Bible.

Everyone loves the story of the woman caught in adultery until they actually read what Jesus says to the woman, which is, "Go and sin no more."

You are missing the point entirely. Jesus told her to go and sin no more after he had already dismissed her accusers, the very people who, like you, were ready to stone her. You are still holding the stone. Are you 'without sin'? Because that is the only condition upon which you are authorized to judge. And you are judging.
Is that 'Christian' enough of a concept for you?

edit: the fact you can't reply if Jesus would have stoned a trans is the perfect example of how silence can speak.
