Youth Going Through Gender Transition Are More At Risk Of Psychiatric Issues

You didn't say that...

And because you didn't say that, I'm disingenuous? Huh?

I am the arbiter of nothing. I said I know something about Christianity. I didn't say I was an expert.

Go back and look at what I actually said. I said I stay in my lane when I don't know ANYTHING about it. Then I said Christianity is not one of those things. I clearly know more about it than some people, but others know way more about it than me.

A lot of these kinds of problems would be solved if people actually went by what I said instead of what they think I said.

It's ok I still love you, despite your crushing blows of irrefutable Jesus Juijitsu Justice logic

What do you mean? I listen to people all the time.

IDK why this idea of using all-or-nothing thinking is a sore spot for you. You have done it like three times in this conversation atp.

You think being trans is a mental illness and will you not look into the alternatives of why its not.

I guess because its your interpretation of the bible and no facts or arguments will change your mind. You just ignore them.

So you ignore them on purpose of because of something else.

I cannot tell what that something else is.

It might be: "I understand the bible better than these people so I am right about how being trans is a mental illness".

That is all I can think of.

I think gender dysphoria is a mental issue. Yes, I do. As such, it should be treated as a mental issue and not a physical issue. This is what I have been saying since the beginning.

But I think you do not understand:

The mental and physical are related in some way.

The cause of such things should be looked into and not just making labels that treat people the wrong way given their individuality.

You were talking about how the qualia of maleness/femaleness are not physical, so I'm confused about what you are saying here.

The mind body problem has never been resolved but we need not just be satisfied with no examination of that subject.

If dysphoria exists then its both physical and mental but we always are to look for causes even with the mind body problem being unresolved.

Since I'm apparently a Satanist now, I thought I'd let you all know that my evil deed of the day was feeding some rather large koi a little too much fish food
Muahahaha

Okay, how is it physical? And how are you not contradicting yourself?

Okay, how is it physical? And how are you not contradicting yourself?

We experience the physical in a subjective way.

Unless you are a rock then there is a feeling of what it is to be male and a feeling of what it is to be female.

The origination of the feeling would derive from the source of brain morphology in males and females.

Male/Female brain -> subjective experience of male/female psychology

You do understand that females have a different psychology than males and it comes from brain morphology correct?
