I’m not autistic, but I’m also not neurotypical, and I found many of these amusing. I could relate to perhaps ~25% of them.

I appreciate how those with HFA can be blunt. The absolute lack of pretension combined with near-zero energy expenditure on social convention is a kind of joy to my brain. And if I share an interest, the energy is magnifique.

And I understand about topic obsession...years ago, I needed a good knife for the kitchen. I began the decision-making process by studying the history of knife-making around the world, and the metallurgical properties of grain structure in carbon steel.
