What song have you been listening to on repeat recently?

Love the Carl Jung "shadow" connection. Jenny is happy!

It's been a while since I listened to My Life Story, but recently I decided to watch the video for 12 Reasons Why I Love Her. Consequently I discovered the song also has an extended version with 5 more reasons, a bit more synth harpsichord and a flute solo. Now I like the extended version more than the original.

When it comes to baroque pop, The Divine Comedy may have been more popular than MLS, but Neil Hannon's singing style doesn't quite have the energy (or flamboyance) of Jake Shillingford.

Not that there's much baroque about this kind of music. Even the harpsichord at the beginning rather reminds me of game music. But that's fine, the campiness is a part of the charm :relaxed:.

I've been listening to this obsessively since this morning. It's supposed to be an ambient classic, but more for the connoisseurs, or something. Anyway, in keeping with its title, it's very.... frosty. It kinda totally transports me to a spot in the middle of the Antarctic, alone and amazed.

Comments (lol):
Chris Nolan: Hans...
Hans Zimmer: Yes, Chris?
Nolan: I want you to give me a panic attack.
Zimmer: I can do that.
