I'm not an 'extremist' though...i don't want to see anyone hurt. If i was given a magick wand i wouldn't even hurt the bankers, i'd just show them how unbalanced they are

Lol, what makes you say that? Just because I'm capable of making counter-arguments while not losing my shit does not mean I am an INTJ.
It's an interesting forum to read, but some of the people there really take the insufferable genius (prick) archetype and turn it up to eleven. Those who completely eschew subjective morality in favor of objective, "rational" ethics really turn me off from actually delving too deeply into any of their debate threads.
There are a lot of things we humans do that are okay in moderation but destroy us if we don't (or can't) impose self limits. I once read about an experiment where the pleasure center of a rats brain was wired directly to a foot switch in it's cage. From that point on the little bastard did nothing but tap the switch. It died shortly after from hunger.
That said, I don't give internet porn a free pass. To me the greater issue is transmission of unrealistic expectations about sex (ex. "What do you mean you won't do that with me?".. "EVERYbody does that!").
The divide between the primary sexual motivations of men and women is already wide enough.
I rarely watch it. I find it extremely boring and repetitive for the most part but I guess you might have to pay for the more exciting stuff. However, I think I would get equally bored with those eventually too.
Porn has always been available in some form or another but it is far more easy to access it and a whole lot more of it now which is not so good for people with addictive personalities.
I think pornography does have a negative effect on people and their standards and expectations from their partners. I would much rather if any future husband of mine finds porn equally dull and wonders a bit about who had to be exploited to create the stuff.

I watched a Ghostbusters parody porno online with my boyfriend. It was more funny than anything. We couldn't stop laughing the entire time.
And that was the first and only time I watched Internet porn just doesn't interest me to watch other people going at it.
I don't think porn is a big deal. All things in moderation though.
