Slow movements = seductive or calming?

Depends on what's being done. If I don't want to watch it fast then most probably I don't want to watch it slow either. Such as somebody slowly picking their ass while they make deliberate eye contact with you.

I think it's not so much doing things slowly that gives the impression of confidence (or seductiveness, I suppose?), it's doing things deliberately and with purpose. Doing things slowly only underscores the emotion behind the action.

Think about it. Without that element of deliberateness, doing things slow might look like you're a little slow... or possibly geriatric. Or baked out of your bean.

I think this is key in how people interpret it.

I heard that the national socialist party used this to propagate their cause. They'd march down streets; always with direction, always with purpose. All the while most other parties appeared more or less idle in comparison.

I like a five speed sports car. I go slow to play and go fast for show and tell time.

slow movements are very seductive when they're intentional, shows a person is fully immersed in their experience :3
