I'm looking for books that will help me further dissect the human mind.
Also books worth reading. (preferably not story books though..)

-Please tell me which books are good, and why you recommend it.

:m175: Pah~ I love reading books.

You should definitely read something about behaviorism!

I read this one in college, but had some difficulty getting into it.

I'm not much of a reader... but I've heard a lot of good things about "The Brain That Changes Itself", by Norman Doidge

:m153:Alright! :p looks like good books to me, I'm already looking forward to reading the book.
The reason why I ask you guys to post which books are good is because I love books.
They teach allot, but there are some books that really have golden nuggets in them. And those are
allot harder to find than the average book.

Anyway I'm putting download links to the books down here if anyone else is interested.

-First off is B.F skinner, unfortunately I couldn't find a real download like for this book
as it is a very old book. But I can tell that "about behaviorism" is a promising book. So i'll hunt it down in a bookstore.
Thank you Kita!

Back to the basic instincts with this book. Although I don't like to be compared to a monkey it's still interesting to read about similarity's.
Thank you BostonAndy!

:m123: And remember folks! Knowledge is powaRrrr!..

The Yoga of Truth explains the workings of the mind, the intellect, the ego and the self from a yogic perspective. If you feel at ease with that way of viewing the world then this book may be a real page turner. For me it is. I have bought two copies of it, both of which I have given away to friends who have borrowed them. I'm thinking of buying a third copy just because I want to read it again now.

I myself am a christian. But I'm always open to learning from other perspectives. Sounds like a good book if you already have 2 copies of it hahah. ^^

I'll add it to my reading list ;)
(I can't find any e-book site that will let me download it for free. I'll read it using your link and if it's as good as it sounds I'll buy a copy ^^.)
Thanks for sharing this book MooseMan.
