while forcing them to adopt your own ideologies
Never did that.
while forcing them to adopt your own ideologies
On some level it forces it upon anyone who interacts with you
This does not necessitate a kind of animosity towards them, even though the current culture may want to lead me to do so. I'm simply not going to stop being someone's friend because we differ on something, because I view that as immature.
Ok cool
For the record, I wasn't saying it was wrong of you to function that way or anything
Just something to be mindful/careful of, which sounds like you solidly are
Thanks for not trying to combat me or take it super personally, not my intent at all
I love discussing this stuff. I just think we can disagree and still be cool with each other. People see things differently; Let's talk about it, is my view.
Lovest thou me, Peter?
Do you think your soul develops more in heaven, or remains as it is as you die?I was listening to one of my favorite worship songs. As great as it is--even transcendent in some way--it is still no comparison to heaven. When the Lord returns, it will be real--hyper real. The most real thing a person can experience. I just think of heaven. I think of the end of all things. I think of how Jesus loved us. I think of how the world is passing away. I think about how this temporal, physical life is but a shadow of what is true reality.

So what you're saying is, I might also have a dead end job as a ghost![]()
The point I'm making is obvious and hilarious
If God created Earth and human souls, why would God then abandon grace foreer of some of those creations?Good question. I believe from the moment of conversion, we are ever being conformed to the image of Jesus. I do not believe this ends at death. Jesus was perfect, but the Bible says Jesus "Learned obedience through suffering." How is it that someone who is perfect can be perfected? As such, yes, our bodies will be resurrected and will be glorified, and we will have incorruptible bodies. But, I believe just as people in hell grow ever more sinful into eternity, so too do the upright continue to become more sanctified into eternity.
Revelation 22:11
"“Let the unrighteous go on in unrighteousness; let the filthy still be filthy; let the righteous go on in righteousness; let the holy still be holy.”"
