That firework looks a bit like a double helix, ehe?

Will the US still exist by that time I wonder?
Yes, I believe the U.S. will exist but not in the way we've always known her.

It's similar to when every one around me said holy-shit batgirl, the world is going to end on December 21, 2012 because the Myan Calendar ends! What are we gonna do! I laughed and said I would still be getting ready to celebrate Christmas breakfast...because yes, all of our lives ended the way we knew it, yet the Sun still rose to light our day on Dec 22, 2012.

These are troubling times, but I'm certain we will all pull through...maybe somebody will Blanket Party Trump (play on words of political party :p)

Rupert Sheldrake 2017, Goldsmiths, University of London:
The Extended Mind

January 10th, 2017
Goldsmiths, University of London

A lecture by Rupert Sheldrake
http://sheldrake.org

Given at the Anomalistic Psychology Research Unit, in the Psychology Department of Goldsmiths College, University of London.
https://www.gold.ac.uk/calendar/?id=1...

The standard assumption is that minds are located inside heads.
But many mental phenomena, including vision, suggest that minds are far more extensive than brains.

There is now a large body of experimental evidence for the reality of the sense of being stared at, namely the ability to detect unseen gazes.
There is also evidence for the effects of intention at a distance through telephone telepathy, the phenomenon of thinking of somebody just before they call, or knowing who is calling before looking at the caller ID or answering the phone.

New evidence also suggests that joint attention can be detected at a distance.
Such phenomena make sense if we think of minds as more like extended fields than as processes confined to brains.

The Nolan Sisters experiment was filmed for Channel 5 TV and aired in Britain in 2004.
Rupert's paper describing the experiment is given below.

The Origins of the Faeries:
Encoded in our Cultures – Part I

The faeries appear in folklore from all over the world as metaphysical beings, who, given the right conditions, are able to interact with the physical world. They’re known by many names but there is a conformity to what they represent, and perhaps also to their origins.

From the Huldufólk in Iceland to the Tuatha Dé Danann in Ireland, and the Manitou of Native Americans, these are apparently intelligent entities that live unseen beside us, until their occasional manifestations in this world become encoded into our cultures through folktales, anecdotes and testimonies.

Middle-Earth-like elves by artist

In his 1691 treatise on the faeries of Aberfoyle, Scotland, the Reverend Robert Kirk suggested they represented a Secret Commonwealth, living in a parallel reality to ours, with a civilization and morals of their own, only visible to seers and clairvoyants.

His assessment fits well with both folktale motifs, and some modern theories about their ancient origins and how they have permeated the collective human consciousness.

So who are the faeries, where do they come from…and what do they want?

Faerie-tales
“Myth is a story that implies a certain way of interpreting consensus reality so to derive meaning and effective charge from its images and interactions.
As such, it can take many forms: fables, religion and folklore, but also formal philosophical systems and scientific theories.”

- Bernardo Kastrup, More Than Allegory: On religious myth, truth and belief (2016).

Faerie-tales are a type of mythology; explanations of human and environmental phenomena, usually set at an indeterminate time in the past.
Most faerie-tales are never one-offs, but seem to cluster as a single form from many sources, which are dispersed geographically and chronologically.

In Europe and America, they were mostly collected by folklorists in the 19th and early-20th centuries, from both oral and written sources, and then disseminated from there.

Many were incorporated into the folklorists’ bible, the Aarne-Thompson catalogues of folktale types and motifs, which were first put together in 1910 by the Finnish folklorist Antti Aarne, and completed by Stith Thompson in 1958.

They consist of several doorstop volumes, which index every conceivable story type and motif from around the world.

Quarrel-of-Oberon.jpg

‘The Quarrel of Oberon and Titania’ by Noel Paton

It’s been suggested that the catalogues actually codify every human experience, distilled into story; an index of our collective memory as a species, realized through the medium of mythology.

Amidst the catalogues are the story types classed as faerie-tales, each containing hundreds of separate motifs; they are the descriptors of a vast array of myth.

These are not simple tales told to pass the long winter nights (although that was always one use for them), but rather, they are sophisticated tools that can be used to interpret human experience and to help understand the reality we find ourselves in.

One common faerie-tale motif, for instance, is the suspension of time when a mortal visits faerieland.
A nice example is the Irish story of Oisín, a poet of the Feinn.

After falling asleep under an ash tree he awakes to find Niamh, the shape-shifting Queen of Tir na n’Og, the land of perpetual youth, summoning him to join her in her realm as her husband.

He agrees and finds himself living in a paradise of perpetual summer, where all good things abound, and where time and death hold no sway.

Oisin-and-Niamh.jpg

Oisín and Niamh travelling to Tír na nÓg.

But soon he breaks a taboo of standing on a broad flat stone, from where he is able to view the Ireland he left behind.
It has changed for the worse, and he begs Niamh to give him leave to return.

She reluctantly agrees, but asks that he return after only one day with the mortals.
She supplies him with a black horse, which he is not to dismount, and ‘gifted him with wisdom and knowledge far surpassing that of men.’

Once back in Ireland he realizes that decades have passed and that he is no longer recognized or known of.
Inevitably, he dismounts his horse and immediately his youth is gone and he becomes an enfeebled old man with nothing but his immortal wisdom.

There is no returning to the faerieland of the Tir na n’Og.
In other variations of the story, the hero turns to dust as soon as his feet touch the ground of consensus reality
.

Damn, it's been a while since I've come across that story. It was a favorite of my dad's (maybe it still is though he doesn't talk about faeries and mythology that much anymore). I've come across numerous variations of it, though always with the same premise. In a lot of them he almost immediately turns to dust. Plenty of stories of the fair folk in Irish mythology. There's actually a lot of really weird and cool stories in Irish myth, shame it's not more popular. Then we might have more than just elves and dwarfs in most fantasy works.

Short Situation Update ~ Cobra ~ 28th March 2017
March 29, 2017 by Therese Zumi Sumner

Justice of Maat! After „tasting the medicine“, David Rockefeller, the head of the Rockefeller faction of the Cabal, had a heart failure and left the planet:

https://www.rt.com/usa/381433-banker-david-rockefeller-dies/

He is currently on the plasma plane, trying to escape from the Light forces and he is expected to be captured within a week and taken to the Galactic Central Sun.

George Bush Sr., Henry Kissinger and Dick Cheney are expected to follow him relatively soon, in that particular order.

Meanwhile, clearing of the Chimera group continues. The Light forces are finally getting some leverage against Chimera and hopefully I will be able to report some good news by mid-April.

Now there are only about 180 members of the Chimera group left on the planet. They are a small and yet very powerful and dangerous group that maintains the quarantine status of planet Earth through a top quark-antiquark condensate located in Long Island, tied to plasma toplet bombs:

http://2012portal.blogspot.com/2014/09/planetary-situation-update_16.html

They are infiltrated into key positions in US, Russian and Chinese military, the majority of them within the US Air Force, effectively preventing positive ET contact globally.

More specifically, you can find them holding certain key positions here:

Speaking of NASA, its space probe Voyager has been hacked years ago by the Galactic Confederation as soon as it exited our Solar System, crossing the Tachyon membrane / outer barrier:

http://www.physics-astronomy.com/2016/10/voyager-2-may-have-been-hacked-as-it.html#.WKYZuzg6BS8

As the quarantine Earth is about to open, mainstream plans to colonize the Solar System are beginning to sound more realistic:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/space-colonies-orbiting-earth-20-years-expert-prediction-a7623726.htmlđ

And Russia has joined many nations that plan to put tourists in near space within a few years:

http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2017-02/15/c_136056820.htm

All those plans are attempts of the Light forces to speed up the process towards the Compression Breakthrough.

Bye, bye, "Rocky". We will miss you. You will soon be followed by your companions.

In the Galactic Central Sun, their souls will be recycled into other forms of energy. They lack the mind set to connect to Source and would not be able to grow more experience. They are used to playing the role of psychopaths after incarnating in bodies that cannot experience emotions.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, who helped topple economic barriers between the Soviet Union, China and the west as President Jimmy Carter’s national security adviser, died on Friday. He was 89.

His death was announced on social media on Friday night by his daughter, MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski. She called him “the most inspiring, loving and devoted father any girl could ever have”.

In a statement, Carter called Brzezinski “a superb public servant” as well as “brilliant, dedicated and loyal”.

Former president Barack Obama said in a statement released on Saturday that Brzezinski was “an accomplished public servant, a powerful intellect and a passionate advocate for American leadership”.

“His influence spanned several decades, and I was one of several presidents who benefited from his wisdom and counsel,” Obama added. “You always knew where Zbig stood.”

First "Rocky" and now Brzezinski? Brzezinski has a lot in common with Kissinger and other supposed psychopaths. Not that I can prove it, but I see the similarities.

Yes...it’s interesting that people who have taken DMT often find themselves surrounded by little strange men and women or creatures.
Some of the creatures even cheer and clap when people have popped into their reality as if to congratulate you on making it there.
The question is...was it just an experience of one person who then spread what he saw, which then predisposed the minds of anyone who heard the stories to then while experiencing DMT, sees these creatures...fairies, gnomes, elf, etc. or are they completely independent and no matter if you have heard the stories or not....if you reach that space the creatures exist and are as described...then it opens a whole pandora’s box of - what the hell are they then?...where exactly do they exist?, etc, etc, etc.?

I grew in place in a place that was plagued by mosquitoes. In the evening of the month of May, the sky was full of armadas waiting of tiny things. I have that habit of smacking things when there is something touching me because of being stung a million times. Recently, a fairy crossed my path and I hit her instinctively. Let us hope that she is peaceful and empathic.

The Visionary, Haunting, Occult Artwork of William Blake
JASON LOUV

william-blake-red-dragon-head.jpg

Here’s eight incredible occult artworks from William Blake, one of the truest visionary geniuses that England—or the world—has ever produced.

William Blake (1757-1827) was a poet and artist from England.
He was also one of the truest geniuses Western civilization ever produced.

Though he lived in poverty and struggled to publish his own books, Blake lived the life of a mystic.
His adventures rival or surpass anything from Aleister Crowley.

Blake was adept at entering mystical trances, and even practiced sexual yoga.
The visionary states he could produce in himself opened doors to incredible creativity.

Blake followed a kind of radical Gnostic Christianity, but his path was completely unique.
“I must create a system,” he once said, “or be enslaved by another man’s.”

This makes Blake one of the distant ancestors of chaos magick.

The more you read about Blake, the stranger he appears.
For instance, “The Ghost of a Flea,” an artwork reproduced below, Blake drew from life.

The painting depicts an entity that he and an associate contacted through ceremonial magick.
At least, that’s what Blake claimed.

William Blake reigns as one of the greatest visionaries of history.
His poetry, art and occult philosophy are without peer.

He also stands head and shoulders above many of the mystics who came before and after him.
He was a true “natural.”

Below, check out eight of his greatest occult artworks.

I Dreamt a Dream! what can it mean?
And that I was a maiden Queen:
Guarded by an Angel mild;
Witless woe, was ne’er beguil’d!

And I wept both night and day

And he wip’d my tears away
And I wept both day and night
And hid from him my hearts delight

So he took his wings and fled:

Then the morn blush’d rosy red:
I dried my tears & armd my fears,
With ten thousand shields and spears.

Soon my Angel came again:

I was arm’d, he came in vain:
For the time of youth was fled
And grey hairs were on my head.

The term "astral plane" is variously used in New Age, occult, and theosophical thought to designate the reality corresponding to the next most subtle body or vehicle beyond the etheric body, which one experiences in astral travel and so on.

More broadly, it can be interpreted as the "subtle" aspect of the Physical (i.e. the subtle physical) and the physical aspect of Orectic reality.
It is divided into a number of sub-gradations, but the descriptions and details differ according to the particular teaching.

The Astral plane is well-known in many esoteric traditions.

References to this reality are:
  • the Dreaming of the Australian Aborigines

  • the Spirit-world of Shamanism

  • the Duat of the ancient Egyptians

  • the Bardo (Intermediate State) of the Tibetans

  • the Imaginal world of Islamic Esotericism - e.g. the Barzakh (Interworld) or of Suhrawardi and the the Mithal (Imaginal realm) of Ibn Arabi

  • the Universe of Asiyah of some Kabbalists, or of Yetzirah according to others
Other descriptions are:
  • the Nervo degree of the Physical State of Theon

  • the Astral or 2nd Prakritic plane (corresponding to the Linga Sharira or Subtle or Astral body)

  • the Kama (Desire-Plane) of Blavatsky

  • the Astral Plane of the Adyar school of Theosophy and of popular occultism, Rudolph Steiner's "Soul World"

  • the Vital and Subtle Physical described by Sri Aurobindo and Mirra
These are just a few of the innumerable descriptions of this plane of existence.

The fractal approach to occultism (e.g. Max Theon) suggests that there is not a single astral reality, but rather the astral plane, and the corresponding astral body, pertains to a number of realities, mostly in the Subtle Physical, but also in the Physical Orectic worlds.

One might even formulate a gradation from,
  • the Greater Astral or Kosmic Orectic Universe such as the Numinocosm,

  • through Astral,

  • to Subtle Physical,

  • and finally to objective physical reality.
These can be related as fractal resonances, with a lesser or kosmic physical Astral/Orectic distinguished from the greater or numinocosmic kosmic Astral/Orectic, as being a reflection or resonance of the latter.

The kosmic physical Astral/Orectic in turn creates a resonance in the subtle physical (or etheric) astral, as well as in other octaves.

In contrast to the universes of pure ideas (the ideational universe) above it, here the ability of consciousness to even formulate ideas is lost, due to the increasing preponderance of the material pole of existence.

This coarseness also brings about, for the first time, a limitation in the multiplicity of things, as it screens out more and more the infinite number of possible subtleties.

There is also, for the first time, the beginning of egotism, the mistaken belief that one's own little self is the centre of the universe, and the consequent desire to aggrandize that petty self (there is no egotism in the higher worlds; mental egotism only comes about through mind being mixed with the substance of the lower planes).

A spiritualist representative of the Psychic Universe
from "The Return of Authur Conan Doyle”

Like the other planes and ontological universes, the Physical Astral plane seems to consist of a number of resonances or subplanes, such as are illustrated in the above diagram.

These sub-planes constitute a "vertical" gradation of zones from dark to light, dense to subtle, material to spiritual.

They have been described and categorized in different esoteric teachings, including the system of chakras and planes in Sant Mat, the occult cosmologies of the Kabbalists, Theon, Blavatsky, Rudolph Steiner, Spiritualism, Adyar school of Theosophy, and Sri Aurobindo.

Regions of the Astral Plane

The following is a diagram that, although presented from a mythological New Age ufological perspective, which interprets the the Subtle Physical Astral in terms of galactic extraterrestrials and so on.

Although this should not be taken too literally, it presents a useful representation of the planes and graduations of this region.

dimensioneshyperdimensions01_01.gif

Here, "time-space influence" refers to proximity to the Cosmic Physical planes and subplanes, "time-space independent" to the higher regions of Cosmic Astral (i.e. the Astral and higher subplanes).

Terms like interplanetary and intergalactic may be pseudoscientific interpretations of various degrees of ascent of consciousness, or they may refer to genuine cosmic phenomena.

Some subdivisions of the Astral Universes

Various occult teachers give different descriptions and enumerations (the Theosophists have seven, the Kabbalists ten, and so on).

Following Sri Aurobindo's division of the Vital we posit four distinct Psychic planes, here termed,
  • the Lower Astral

  • the Higher Astral

  • the Emotional-Psychic

  • the Mental-Psychic Planes
...four distinct "resonances" or states of existence.

However this is only one classification system, and the others can be considered just as valid.
  1. The first, the Mental-Psychic Plane, Noeric of Psychic, is the higher octave of the physical intellect, and the lower of the Divine intellect.
It takes the form of the source of imagination, and creativity.
There are also higher resonances, which pertain to the descent of higher angelic or Divine Light, and constitute a sort of "Divinised" Astral.
This Divinized Astral is the region of many Gods.
  2. The second, the Psychic-Emotional, is the octave of higher emotion, especially love (the highest and purest of the emotions).
This is a higher, more "spiritual" and "heavenly", Psychic Plane, the plane of pure feelings and emotions, especially the higher emotions such as Love.
We can call this the Emotional Plane.
  3. The third, the Higher or Greater Astral, is the octave of will, power, and egotism.
The sense of an individual self or personality comes from here.
This is the plane of pure desires and ambitions and power and will, which we can call the Connative or Will or Higher Astral Plane.
  4. The lowest, Physical Psychic, or Lower Astral, refers to that aspect of the Psychic nature that have taken on or reproduced forms from the world of Physical (what are variously referred to by occult writers as "thought-forms", "elementals", and "artificial elementals", although there are other beings also called "elementals" that are native to these and other planes).

19th century occultists such as Eiphas Levi and Madame Blavatsky refer to this as the "astral light", and it presumably occurs on a number of planes.

This is a lower, more "material" and "purgatorial" Psychic Plane, which - borrowing a term from Plato's three-fold psychology (the division into reason, will, and desire) - we can refer to as the epithymia or Desire or Lower Psychic plane.
The Emotional Plane

The Emotional Plane corresponds to the Lurianic Kabbalistic World of Angels (Yetzirah), and the "higher Astral Plane" of Theosophy and contemporary occultism.

It is on this Higher Psychic or Greater Astral or Thymatic Plane that we find the various paradises and heavens. Here the "soul" or ba (to give the Egyptian term) ascends after physical death.

This would also seem to be the plane which the Spiritualists refer to as "Summerland", the paradisiacal after-life state described in a number of spiritualist teachings.

Psychologically, this is the universal counterpart of what Sri Aurobindo describes as the emotional vital,

"the seat of various feelings, such as love, joy, sorrow, hatred, and the rest."

[Letters on Yoga, Vol 1, p.334].

But the Emotional-Spiritual Plane is not the same as the Emotional body of the Omni-Physical Universe.

The Emotional body in the Etheric is the Psychic incarnate in the etheric, while the Emotional-Spiritual Plane represents the original impulse or source, "metaphysical emotion" so to speak, as distinct from Physical-Etheric Emotion.

The Higher Astral Plane

The Upper Astral corresponds in part to the Lurianic Kabbalistic World of Making (Asiyah), and pretty much to Blavatsky's Kamic (not "karmic") or Desire Plane.

As with the Emotional Plane, this is a vast psychic region.

Theosophical writers such as Leadbeater and Steiner, and a number of Spiritualist sources, refer here to a progression of gradations (usually seven), going from purgatorial to heavenly.

Although the purgatorial regions are usually associated in these writings most closely with the Earth plane, this is not strictly correct.
What we have here is a "horizontal" series of regions, from Gross to Subtle and Causal Astral, the Gross Astral being most caught up with physical consciousness (and hence still tied to physical things), the Causal (or noetic) Astral being the most spiritual.

In the psychological-yogic system of Sri Aurobindo, this faculty especially is referred to as the Vital.
This refers not to etheric or life-force body as such, but the various emotions, desires, lusts, likes, dislikes, and so on.

The Vital
can be identified with the element of Will, of motivation and energy.
Without the help of the vital, nothing can be achieved.

Various powerful occult practices, such as Magic, extend the consciousness into the Higher Astral or Psychic universe.
This is done through attuning oneself to, and contacting, various entities or powers of those worlds, through the means of ritual, visualization, sex, and other potent techniques.

Even the most basic magical ritual, such as the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram, in many ways the foundation-stone of the entire Golden Dawn tradition, can have a strikingly powerful effect on the Lower and Higher Astral planes.
Ritual Magic as a whole, with its emphasis on the acquiring of powers and abilities, pertains very much to the Upper Astral world of Yetzirah; to exploring and mastering the phenomena of this plane, just as science and technology explore and master the phenomena of the physical plane (but with each, how important, and how often neglected, is the guidance of proper wisdom and true Spiritual Light!).

Exploration of the Higher Astral plane is often to be had through a form of clairvoyance included under the heading of Magical imagination or scrying, a sort of modified astral traveling.

In this, one doesn't actually "see" colors and beings "objectively", as the true clairvoyant does, but rather imaginatively, with the "mind's eye”.
Still, this can be a powerful technique, especially when combined (as in the Golden Dawn system) with Ritual Magic.

Sometimes this state can also be achieved through taking drugs in an appropriate frame of mind, but by far the majority of all drug experiences are Asiyatic.

The emotional and higher astral regions would seem to constitute the origin of that phenomenon known as Channeling.
Channeling is the process whereby a higher nonphysical intelligence or entity, in conjunction with the channeler's own subconscious, dictates a teaching, usually of a spiritual or pseudo-spiritual nature.

Generally, material of this genre tends to be turgid, verbose, obscure, and poorly presented.

Despite, or maybe because of, this, such communications have become enormously popular and influential in the so-called "New Age" movement.
But this is by no means a unique modern Western phenomenon.

Close analogies can be made with the Hebraic prophets and also the Voodoo ceremonies of possession by a god (loa), to give just two examples.

It is in the Psychic Planes then that one can encounter the Gods of religions, as reflections of the original Gods and Godheads of the Divine Ontocosm. Each Astral God creates its own empire, and human entities of lesser understanding (which includes the great mass of humanity at present) can easily get stuck there.

This is the basis of the Monotheist's claim that there is only one God, the God of their Religion, and all the other religions have only an inferior understanding of their God, is false.

His consciousness is stuck in the empire of that one god, and overpowered by its strength and radiance.
He is thus unable to recognize or acknowledge other realities, gods, etc.

In addition there are innumerable other orders of beings here, most of which have no connection or relation to human or earthly existence.

The Lower Psychic or Epithymic Plane

The Lower Astral Plane, or plane of psychic desire is the region of lower astral spirits, elementals, formations and thought-forms, and various other phenomena.

These constitute a sort of psychic zone pervading and surrounding the Earth.
If we see a certain place a particular "atmosphere" for example, we are attuning to the astral energy of that place.

Spiritualist mediums tend to attune to this plane, and the so-called "spirits" they contact are actually the psychic "shells" of deceased people, what Blavatsky called kama-rupa ("desire-forms").

The Lower Astral is the most accessible of the Yetziratic worlds, because it is closest (i.e. most similar in "density") to the Physical Universe.

The most dramatic way to experience this plane is to actually bodily transfer one's field-of-consciousness from Physical to Psychic; to leave one's physical body behind and travel "out of body" in the Psychic Universe itself.

In popular terminology this is referred to as "astral projection" or "astral travelling.”
Some individuals have a greater aptitude for it than others.

In any case, most of these experiences pertain to the Lower Astral; only skilled astral travelers ascend to higher planes.

Another method of experiencing the Lower Astral is, while remaining in the physical vehicle, to extend one's sensorium into the Psychic worlds.
One form of this is called "Clairvoyance" ("seeing auras", etc).

Most clairvoyants only function on the Etheric and the Lower Astral planes.
This is because the higher up you go on the scale of being, the more subtle the realities (the "vibrations" to use the originally Gurdjieffian New Age term) and hence the greater difficulty in perceiving them.

The Lower Psychic or Epithymic Plane corresponds in Neoplatonism and Kabbalah to the so-called "animal soul", the lower or instinctual self; the "lower self".

Says Sri Aurobindo:

"The lower vital as distinguished from the higher is concerned only with the small greeds, small desires, small passions, etc, which make up the daily stuff of life for the ordinary sensational man; while the vital-physical proper is the nervous being giving vital reflexes to contacts of things with the physical consciousness.”

[Letters on Yoga, vol. 1, p.327]

The Lower Psychic or Lesser Astral is much less diverse than the higher (for now the further down we go, the less multiplicity).
Yet this is still an exceedingly diverse reality, relative to the Physical.

It includes the "spirit world" of shamanism, and the "astral plane" of popular occultism; and is directly experienced by individuals who "go out of their body" and travel around the spirit-world.

This plane corresponds to the Manipura or navel and solar plexus chakras (there are two distinct chakras here - call them "Manipura A" and "Manipura B" - although the Indian Tantric tradition only recognizes one). All phenomena imagined by the mind of man have their existence here, as thought-forms [Besant and Leadbeater, Thought forms].

The Lower Astral or Epithymatic Plane is also the region of lower desires and "earth-bound" spirits; human entities who have died but are still unable to break free of their former material attachments.

In Theosophy and Occultism this is usually called the "Lower Astral plane".

The Astral Light

Blavatsky describes the Astral Light as a region of illusion [quoted in Farthing, p.92].

"Our Astral Light is ...the Linga Sharira [subtle body] of our earth; only instead of being its primordial prototype...it is the reverse.
Human and animal bodies grow and develop on the model of their antetypal Doubles, whereas the Astral Light is born from the terrene emanations, grows and develops after its prototypal parent, and in its treacherous waves everything from the upper planes and from the lower solid plane, the earth,... is reflected reversed.

Hence the confusion of its colors and its sounds in the clairvoyance and clairaudience of the sensitive who trusts to its records, be (he)... a Hatha yogi or a medium...”

[S.D. vol. III, p.500; quoted in Geoffrey Farthing, Exploring the Great Beyond, p.90]

And elsewhere:

"The Astral Light is that which mirrors the three higher planes of consciousness, and is above the lower, or terrestrial plane; therefore it does not extend beyond the fourth plane [Kama-Manas] where, one may say, the Akasha begins....”

[quoted Ibid, p.91]

The study of this one plane would require a whole book in itself, so perhaps we better leave it off now, with the above quotations as a basic description. But certainly it is in references such as these that we see the origin of widespread modern occult-theosophical idea of the "Astral Plane" as "the plane of illusion".

It is interesting though to find a brief reference to what seems to be the same phenomena in the Tibetan Bardo Thodol ("Tibetan Book of the Dead") where the following instruction is given to the soul or consciousness of the deceased newly departed from its body:

"O son of noble family, after being unconscious for four and a half days you will move on, and awakening from your faint you will wonder what has happened to you, so recognize it as the bardo[ intermediate] state.
At this time samsara is reversed, and everything you see appears as lights and images.”

[The Tibetan Book of the Dead - the Great Liberation through hearing in the Bardo, transl. by Francesca Fremantle and Chogyam Trungpa, p.41 (1975, Shambhala)]

The illusory, self-created nature of these visions is stressed elsewhere in text by the words:

"...the essential point to recognize with certainty is that whatever appears, however terrifying, is your own projection”

[Ibid, p.40]

This emphasis on the subjectively-generated nature of the phenomena of the astral (or "bardo") world is constantly reiterated by other clairvoyants, like the Theosophist Leadbeater.

The Gross Astral/Orectic Reality

By Gross Astral Reality is meant here that aspect of the Astral/Orectic that is closest to Gross Physical (the Material or Mundane Physical) reality.

Sri Aurobindo (in Letters on Yoga) uses the term "physical vital" in an integral psychological context, while The Mother speaks of the "Material Vital"; this seems to be a rather more dense and inconscient level, an interface between the Lower Astral and the Physical, and responsible for things like illness, delirium, etc (Mother's Agenda vol.4, 6th July 1963).

Blavatsky also refers to the lower astral subplanes in this context (ref), although she also refers to "Opening of the Material Vital to the Light" and "Joyous enthusiasm in the most material vital".

Not sure about the stuff concerning the “Matrix”, and those parts in this article.
My vote is still out about this concept.
I have seen the grid in the night sky...but to assume that was some part of a “Matrix” is just that - an assumption.
I guess I just haven’t read enough literature that seems “legit” about it.
Anyhow...the article is interesting and only touches on the theory.
Enjoy!

A Bridge Between Worlds

A new paradigm of Being is opening up.

It is here all around us.
But sometimes it's extremely hard to balance the connection to this 'new world' with living day-to-day in society, especially because not everyone is yet reading from this divine 'script'.

It can sometimes feel like it's one or the other.
Integrating one into the other can seem a nigh on impossibility, but it is not.

Here's where the tactile, empathic nature of the soul - the 'diplomat' - comes into it's own: intuiting and feeling the flow of 'rightness' in any given situation, yet molding and blending it into this material world for maximum unraveling and realigning impact.

You can live your truth, honor the alternative truth of another, yet not compromise your soul.

A tall order?
Yes indeed.

Mastering this Diplomat in you, is certainly a path to mastery.
But it is definitely possible...

The fuel of inner alchemy

It is no secret that we live in a world which is out of balance with nature and therefore out of alignment with the natural harmony of the universe.

As separation consciousness exploded outwards at the "Big Bang" and then condensed into form, so Unity Consciousness continues to destabilize outdated structures and harmonies of lower truth as it makes it's journey back to the source.

Unity Consciousness is this flow of love that is the universe's organizing energy which you can feel in your heart when you stop judging the moment or need a particular outcome from it.

Many people have now awakened and more than ever, are feeling the inner compulsion to 'be the change'.

It involves honoring and expressing your truth in every moment, not just with words, but in every physical, emotional and mental action that you take.
It leads to an internal cleansing of blocked energy and out-dated, distorted behavior patterns.

This is the fuel of inner alchemy.

Indicators of "Right Action"

So after awakening, the first realignment is to connect up to this never ending flow of truth and love, realizing that whatever may appear to be happening on the surface of reality, it is finding, honoring and expressing your truth as "Right Action" that truly counts.

In this sense, "Right" does not mean a judgment of 'good' and 'evil' or 'right' and 'wrong'.
It means: an action which is aligned with the universal flow.

How do you know if you are in this flow of "Rightness"?

Here are some key indicators:
  • They confront, challenge and break down the ego within you and within others with whom you're engaged.
  • Actions in rightness ultimately lead to an inner sense of expandedness, connection and openness, once you've broken through any tightness or resistance to expressing your truth.
  • When aligned with the flow, you tend to observe supportive synchronicity as the universe clicks into place around you.
  • When you're in "Rightness", it just feels right. It's like being in love. No one can tell you if you're in love. There's no logic to it. You just know.
  • A choice made in rightness will feel like destiny.
The 'sweet-spot' of Life

This destiny of rightness that the soul is reading, is not so much about making a choice of doing 'this' or 'that' (although rightness does lead to right choices).

It is more about finding and expressing lost aspects of your true nature.
Of course there is only one being, and everything is formed of this one being.

The One in you does not need a particular outcome because it already has everything.
What The One in you is truly looking for, is the nectar of life itself: to find the fullest, grandest, most complete expression possible.

And that defines the purpose of your soul.
And there is absolutely nothing else going on.

Ever...!

So if you can make a point of continually working to feel this truth, flowing through the core of your soul, then you will align with destiny.
With each expression of it, life will become increasing magical, mystical and simply divine.

You are fulfilling true purpose.
You've touched the 'sweet-spot' of life itself.

An impossible juggling act?

It's not always easy to express the soul.

The soul will lead you into confrontation and sometimes even conflict as you challenge the ways of old.
It's especially not easy because of the Matrix in which we live.

The Matrix is a huge 'eddy current' within the stream.
It would seem like it's been purposefully designed to capture the flowing energy, retard it into a 'box' and then to disconnect from the flow of rightness, riding roughshod over the natural harmony of life in the process.

It's like a dam has blocked up the stream, influencing, controlling and manipulating all life it catches in its net.

It has become a tremendous challenge to all those wanting to express and live the higher truth.
You feel a pull beyond typical 9am-5pm conditionality, but you step out of line and the Matrix tries to punish you for it.

With rules and regulations, appointments, deadlines and expectations, there's every reason why not to express the truth.
Not only that, but the Matrix currently owns all the resources.

If you want to survive, most will have to interact with it in some way.
And what about your families, loved ones and colleagues who may not be feeling this flowing connection as you are?

This can be greatly influential.
Sometimes expressing the flow of truth may feel like an impossible juggling act.

Rest assured, it is not...

Different soul ray harmonics

This is where the Ray 4 comes in, the diplomat in you, that which helps you blend with multiple realities, that which helps you empathize but influence, that which accepts unconditionally but also catalyses.

This Ray 4 is the 'Bridge between Worlds'.

I observe that the soul is a blend of seven particular characteristics - a soul ray harmonic - and that all expressions of beingness tend to be a blend of these particular 'rays' of consciousness, just like sounding a note on a musical instrument.

If you can find the 'right' expression of you which is wanting to activate in this moment, then not only does it 'sound sweet', but you drop into the natural flow.

It feels just like heaven.
And there is nothing better than this...

Everything else that you may search or strive for in life is but an echo of this source sound.

I've also observed there is a spectrum of possible soul-ray-harmonics.
On one end of the spectrum are the catalysts.

They are here to 'shake life up’.
To change, unravel, unwind and metamorphosis.

They'll continually confront you with truth.
You'll simply not be allowed to rest in your lazy bed!

And on the other end of the spectrum are the empaths.

These are the souls who can absolutely and unconditionally accept life as it is without judging.
They can witness and feel the truth at the core of all behavior - no matter how distorted - and not need to change it.

They are that energy that helps play out a distortion so that others ultimately want to change, all of their own accord.

Now between this spectrum of catalyst and empath, each soul will be a unique blend of both.
In understanding this and realizing how you impact life around you, can be enormously helpful to your evolution.

It will make sense of why you encounter the interactions you do, why it can be so hard to express your truth and why others may react so negatively or conversely be so inspired at different times.

The 'gear-box' that harmonizes power with reality

Understanding and fine tuning your Ray 4, is like the gear box that transforms the raw power of the engine, into manageable torsion to turn the wheels. But this gearbox does need to be well oiled!

If you can fine tune your particular blend, then you will go a long way towards facilitating your flow through life.

So what does this mean in a practical sense?
  • Firstly acknowledge that you're here to influence and change the nature of reality. You're not supposed to be cooped up in a box. Even if people around you react with projection towards you, fear and anger, recognize it is their own distortion they're activating - otherwise they'd be able to calmly accept you as you are. As you realize this in your mind, feel a waterfall of flowing calmness descend around your expression of truth.

  • Secondly, in order to facilitate the greatest amount of positive change, there needs to be open doorways through the density of the field, that may touch something deep within another. In other words, whilst we stand our ground, we must recognize and honor the truth in another. Even if you notice theirs is a lower vibrational truth, it is still their truth and real to them. If you're given to influence, you won't get anywhere by riding roughshod over them.

  • Catalyzing and therefore unwinding means first working to recognize the 'ancient light' at the core of a distortion. So all actions have begun with an authentic exploration of reality by the soul. It's just that the ego then distorted the purity. So first work to find the truth at the core of their distortion and honor this with them. Then help them see the higher truth. If you've done it accurately, they'll be on your side and much more open to change.

  • Recognize that the stream will always find different pathways back to the ocean. If you try one approach and it doesn't work or if you then feel disconnected because you couldn't fully honor the flow, work not to judge yourself for it. Benevolence doesn't blame you! Instead keep softening into the place you are now at, pausing to reconnect again.

  • Compromise, but don't ever compromise the soul. Yes it may seem like an impossible paradox. But it is not... How can you make your truth the most understandable, the most reasonable, the most tactile, the most accessible and without any extra energy? If you can do this, you'll find you don't have to compromise your truth. Increasingly you'll be accepted.

  • Don't tell others what you know to be their truth (this can be a big button pusher!). Instead work to facilitate an increase in realization by asking an empowering question. One that is open ended, one that causes them to explore and feel for themselves.

  • Accept that sometimes you will be in a minority of one. It does not make your truth untruth. Know and accept when it is time to stand your ground, come what May. This will always test your level of trust in the divine. So be it. Take it as an opportunity to evolve and grow.
Is it the soul acting or the ego?

So how do you know when you're expressing what's really your soul (in this case the Ray 4) and when it's your ego that's running the distortion?
When does the authentic expression of the diplomat in you actually morph into compromising the soul?

This is a powerful and important question.
And there's only one soul who can answer it - you!

Lower mind likes a ready answer.
It tends not to be comfortable with open ended and abstract questions that 'hang in the air'.

But work to get used to that question…

"is this the soul acting now or the ego?"

Hold it in your awareness and challenge every situation with it.
Feel through your reaction/response to it.

If the ego is acting, choices are often made out of subtle levels of fear - of a need for a particular outcome.
So is your response really about placating because you're afraid of how they'll react to you?

Work to be honest with yourself.
The ego will make you feel less than.

It will make you feel small, which your natural body language will reflect.

Realize that ALL situations are a co-creation.
Both parties have something to learn.

You may be in rightness - the higher truth - so it's not that you're wrong, but perhaps you need to look for a more evolved expression?

I find that having this in my awareness, frequently softens the burden of 'carrying the truth’.
It means I wasn't 'wrong', I just need to look for a more sophisticated expression.

I find it makes the truth easier to bear.

Two Worlds

Whether we fully know it or not, we're living in two worlds at the moment.

The higher paradigm is to be found infusing this lower world, working to transform it.
Those who are already carrying the light, will frequently find it challenging.

The old world values are so used to living in the shadows and fear the light.
There's a clinging to the easy-to-understand, in-the-box expediency and soft comfort.

There's a strong dependence on the crutch of old behaviors.

Despite this, there comes a point where you simply cannot compromise your soul a moment longer.
You realize the illusion and that the only real purpose of life is the expression of you.

In mastering the Ray 4 Diplomat - an interwoven aspect of your soul - it means you can still be living and breathing the higher realm, whilst acting in this one.

It means you can stay in the truth.

In so doing, not only does your awakened life become more manageable, you become a powerful facilitator.

You become a bridge between the worlds...

I would totally do shit like this if I knew how to taxidermy...not grossed out by any part of the process, it just seems like it would make your garage smell mighty funky and maybe attract other critters with the smell.
Idk....but this is pretty awesome for someone.
