Not if there are aliens out there that are as self-aware as we are.[/nit-picking]

They'd be an equally interesting phenomenon precisely because of that. But, it doesn't demote or negate our uniqueness and wonderfulness. But, seeings how we have yet to find them...

If we were created/designed, then I would say yes. (I do not agree with the idea of creationism and inteligent design, but I don't rule it out entirely).

Just because we aren't a mechanical machine driven primarirly by electrical circuits, doesn't mean we could possibly be artifical. Not to mention small scale biological systems can be created easily, and are done so on a day to day basis (without it, our way of life woudn't be possible). Who is to say that our entire system has been created. If you look down at things on a small scale anyway, we are machines. That is exactly what protiens are (look at DNA Helicase for an extrodinary example).

Really, this question is rather simple to me. We could very well be artifical.
