I currently have a full time academic course schedule and find that a 10 minute guided meditation (I use one particularly for focus before studying) really makes all the difference. There are several types of meditation, I like to use modern adaptations of a couple kinds (mindfulness, transcendental) that basically focus on clearing the mind of any clutter, thoughts, excitement, negative chemical reactions, just being. After doing this properly, I get a noticeable sensation in my brain. A good one, and I feel like my body finally releases the hormones other people may feel on a daily basis - it is calm and able to handle any situation with clarity. This is incredibly energizing (along with maybe a cup of matcha!), and with practice I am able to continue the meditation of just "being" for hours after the guided recording. I use this time to study, and since there are no other thoughts I am just doing the task at hand, nothing else. Meditation has changed my life. I do it every day now whenever I feel myself drifting too far gone. I would recommend the service I use (expectful.com) but it's specifically geared towards mothers, so that may or may not be for you. There are many other guided meditations online though!Ok, so i study all the time since im suppose to- career wise.. and i just randomly thought, how do infjs study academic subject effectively?
How do you turn off your brain? To me it seems an impossible comcept.
