How appealing is vulnerability as a trait?

Finally, after many year I now get to use that line lol. Vulnerability is in ways similar to kindness, too much or not enough of one of the two it suddenly falls in the negative light.
Too much makes you appear weak and a door mat, too little and you're hard and a selfish bastard. I find them appealing in moderate dosage and bite size depending on the circumstances.
