Holiday. I intentionally mixed the two topics to be facetious because both threads are suddenly hot and I’ve been participating in both.

I space out my time off. A week off here and there, you know. A solid month sounds terrible.

I've got one coming up in September and no idea yet what to do or where to go. Iceland?

in orwells '1984' emmanuel goldstein is the resistance leader against the big brother state

However as the book goes on we learn that goldstein is not genuine resistance at all but in fact works for big brother

He acts as controlled opposition so that he can control the discourse of dissent and keep it within safe boundaries
