Don't buy anything from i-doser, I heard their stuff is shoddy.
Then again, no binaural beats have worked for me.

Has anyone tried these? I've been using them for awhile now, probably some of the most powerful mind medicine there is, outside of using drugs.

Basically they work by playing two frequencies, one in each ear. The brain then interprets the difference and try to maintain that frequency.

I'm actually using Audacity and a plug in to concoct some of my own.

Hey darkstar, Years ago I made a bunch of binaural beats with Cool Edit (now Adobe Audition), using the built in tone generator. I would stretch the resultant waveforms, as in starting them at the upper ranges of where the phenomenon occurs and then have them dive down into lower ranges... and all around... modulation and other FX added to make for an interesting listen. Meditating while listening (with headphones of course) can be quite an experience. So, yeah, I have played around with them a bit.

I may still have them around... taking a look... it has been about 7 years.

A great tool. Ridiculously effective. I've never produced my own though, sounds fun.

Works like EFT on crack.

I've been messing around with the 10hz range for increased Serotonin for it's anti depressive and other health benefits.

And the I-doser ones are actually the best. You can't get "high" off them though, not really.

If you guys want to try it out here's some links.

After I download Audacity, how exactly do I get the tones on it and play them?

EFT causes emotional supression. Binaurel beats simply sync up the hemospheres of your brain and induce a calming state. You can use binaurel beats to aid in emotional supression, but I would not advise it.

Been using this to treat my longstanding insomnia(30+ years), sleeping an hour here, an hour there- with binaural beats. It just works. I use Binaural Beats by Rockifone, a free app on my Iphone. Amazing, really, considering the only thing that really helped before was the badly addicting Lorazepam.
I wouldn't know about the mind altering effects of this, it just gives me a feeling of well being.

Are there any other mind medicines besides drugs?

@HaHa There's sex, meditation, oxygen deprivation, sleep deprivation, sensory deprivation, the placebo effect... the list goes on.

You're quite right. I used a terribly narrow definition of medicine.

Man, I just tried 10 minutes of centerpointe soundtracks and I'm already drowsing, who needs weed when you have these babies.

I like the center point mp3s, I think the price is a ripp off though. You can download all the tracks through bittorrent or rapidshare.

I hear this is nothing but a placebo effect... they work only because you want them to. They didn't work for me XD
