I'm so jealous of your courses. The most scenic one in my area plays along ledges that average 60-70 feet in some areas, but only a few holes actually play on them. Most just go through the woods like any other course. There's one less than a mile from my parent's house that I used to play all the time. I've been able to find 5 in the area, but none of them are that good. In Ann Arbor there's a course with 48 holes!
