    Yes. I'd love to have the money to travel to Europe one day. The only other country I've ever been to was the US. Any particular countries in Europe that draw you most?
    Here in Canada, we use feet and inches similarly. Actually, in societal makeup, NewZealand seems very similar to Canada (but it's much warmer on average and quite small).
    As for the hugeness, it is a little intimidating, actually. But we're proud to be the second largest country in the world. Most of us are quite rustic people. It takes almost 2 weeks to cross from the Atlantic to Pacific, and there's very sparse population over much of the country, especially as you go North. I can't even say I've seen much of my own country at all! I've seen more of the states *shakes head in shame*

    Haha. What an awesome mind flip! I'm so used to Americans on these forums, needless to say. I guess your birthday would be like April here in Canada, then. Mind blowing! Mine's in the middle of the Fall, but winter might as well start in November. Subzero weather goes all the way until early April here; too much snow for my taste. Wait-do you use the metric system in NZ??
    Funny enough, I'd love to visit New Zealand one day. Such a beautiful and interesting country, and very different from where I live in terms of climate and landscape. Also, the people have a certain quality I like (apart from the cool accents! :p). Although, Canada is definitely worth checking out also. It's almost like several countries in one it's so huge.

    Lucky you for having such a warm, summery birthday. I've always wanted there to be a huge thunderstorm on my birthday, but it usually snows instead :(. I live in Southern Ontario in Canada, actually.

    haha yeah. I've been posting like a FIEND in the hidden forums tonight (lots going on), so it added up. Then I noticed and said "oh, well look at that, this is my 14th-k post, nifty!" and didn't really think much of it past that. Once you get to 10k, the 1000 post increments just don't matter anymore! lol.

    well you love owls! no i don't have any, but i've always thought i'd get these as wings when i'm older -


    where the back of my shoulders meets the rest of my back so that when i raise my arms they will move a bit. i thought i would get them when i've achieved some of the things in life that i would think would make me a real grown up. i guess there's a chance that it'll never happen :-)
