  • You're probably like, my favorite person on the forums, did you know that? Like, if you were president, I wouldn't try to impeach you.
They went right, I didn't do as good as I could have tho, been doing summer courses for the past 3 years and I am just burnt out. And the fact that school starts again in 2 weeks is not making me feel all that relaxed. Haha

Thank you very much for being my friend, arbygil. You are really a very good friend to me. I'm very glad. / ^_^
Also, the ketogenic diet is not centered around very low calorie, in fact many can consume alot of calories and still lose weight. You don't have to use it as a diet, you can make it a permanent life style change, but that depends how well you function on it.Some feel way more energenic compared to carbohydrate rich diets, while others don't. Bare in mind though if you try it, that some claim it might take upto a month before the body is fully adapted, and you won't feel very good the first few days. The very low cal diet you tried, with low fat and low carb, is not a good idea as it is basically the same as starvation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbit_starvation. It works for short term weight loss, but I'm assuming you're more interested in long term results-Usually following such extreme diets, the recipients gain all the weight back.Including MCT oil could be beneficial, as it will give you more energy and potentially help you burn fat. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0KFY/is_1_20/ai_98432735/
The ketogenic diet is centered around ketose, a metabolic shift when the body uses bodyfat as energy instead of carbohydrates. To get there you have to eat a high fat and quite alot of protein, while the carbohydrate has to be very low, below 20 grams a day for women. Here's some info.http://www.proteinpower.com/drmike/ketones-and-ketosis/metabolism-and-ketosis/If you have insulin resistance to some degree, which stimulates the production of more insulin, which stimulates fat accumulation, then a ketogenic diet will be very beneficial for weight loss.
When you posted in the wrong thread, I freaked out for a second there! lol! my heart was about to stop! lol
SWEET, that feeling of getting out of school after being trapped there all day.

Reminds me of Jury Duty... Which I did! This past Monday!
