  • Haha, when I'm bummed out it's most probably because of RL and not because of the forums. And, I appreciate and agree with your post most of time, so no worries. =)

    Again, interesting topic there!
Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to ruin it for you!
It is an interesting topic tho. That was just my quick-quick-INFJ response, but I was planning on doing some research after my classes end and answer properly.
It truly is an interesting thing to watch. And others will reply in a much better way than I did, I am sure. =)

    I apologize again.
Haha yea, the derail was my fault to begin with. That's exactly what I did lol.
oh well in that case maybe it's a good thing you haven't heard back from them :p and yup, i would travel everywhere too if it was instantaneous and cheap, i've traveled a bit in my life but nowhere near enough to quench the thirst, i always find it such an adventure to visit other countries :) also, have you thought about becoming an english teacher overseas (maybe in Japan)? I have a few friends doing that and it's not a bad job, all you need is a basic level of english proficiency and from what I've read of your posts, you more than meet that requirement. you'd also need a little money to travel there initially but you'd make it up while working. *shrugs* just a thought. hope your day's going well btw
*wishing you the best of luck* hope you hear from them soon, i know you could use the work.
and lol i hate wasting water too, bugs me to no end when someone leaves the tap dripping, but i guess i tolerate it when it's really hot since the alternative is unbearable ! wish we could trade places (as easily as we trade words ;) in fact, someone should've invented a teleportation machine by now, its 2010 already! =P
oh i know how you feel, the heat can be terribly distracting. i end up taking cold showers repeatedly when it gets really hot, and just have the fan on 24/7.
it's pretty cold here though, i'm wearing multiple layers and am still shivering.

and thankyou for kind words regarding exams! i need them, first one's in 3 days and i still have a huge pile of lecture notes to cover, it's making me anxious. but yeah, otherwise doing well, which is a relief ;)

hey, what happened with your job application?
Oh I agree, definitely. There is an immense difference between being cautious and a total ice queen. I've been blessed with a number of loving relationships that actually started out quite flirtatiously and wouldn't have progressed if I had put my hackles up entirely. Balancing head with heart is the way to go. :)
Well, you could call me by my formal title, The Gloriously Intelligent and Beautiful Mistress of the Universe, but TDHT is also fine ;)
I very much agree, especially with how bad it is to gut something you truly enjoy doing from your life. That's one of the reasons I've been slow to mix writing with money. I did it with music, and it turned into something I hated (for a while, I love it again) I think if you can get away doing something you love, and make money while doing it, you've got something worth keeping.

And no worries, I like the way you think. Let it out, and I'll read it up!
Thanks for the rep, and the reassurance. I feel rather confident now, but at the time I would say you are right, the crashing of a dream really got to me. In retrospect, I don't regret a second of it. It was a huge growing experience, and I got to have fun doing something I loved.

Even in the worst of things, some nugget of good can be extracted.
