  • teehee, i heard it was scaring peeps, so i changed it. let me know if you ever wanna borrow it. i can hook you up. =)
Yeah private messages would be best I think. I read your PM, and I noticed what you were talking about when you said using bridge in sentences. And thank you, I really appreciate it, but I hope it's not time consuming or anything, I know that you are going to be busy starting Monday. I speak Arabic (native speaker) and French..and I'm currently learning German. I have a passion for languages! lol
No, English is not my native language. My dad taught me the basics when I was little, and then I continued on my own. I read books and I watched movies and TV shows in English, so I picked up the language without any proper grammar or sentence structure. I also seem to lack vocabulary at times. That's why I asked you to correct me, when you find something missing in my posts. I'd really really appreciate it! =)

bah, at least you own an instrument, I'm still saving money for a keyboard so I can learn music theory.
haha, I'm glad I didn't' commit such an offense yet. :p

Well then you'll most likely have the stamina and strong will for it. Plus, you are have great potential, so don't miss out on the great opportunities in life. Go for it with everything you have! You only live once!

Well, playing music is just like writing. We write down what we think makes sense and what our feelings convey. Same thing with playing an instrument. Yes there are specific techniques to playing music or writing, but following the rules ALL the time will kill the raw emotion behind it, I find.
You're joining the military? ...I have also considered it. HAHA, I think there's nothing in life that I didn't consider doing! lol But I think I don't have the physical capabilities to do so. However, I do like how it develops your stamina as well as a sense of discipline. I think you can achieve that through martial arts or practicing a sport.

Yeah, I agree. Later on, when I am stable with my life I would definitely attempt to write a book, than and learn to play the violin.

btw, how's my grammar so far? :p
That's great. It's an amazing opportunity. Let me know how your training goes? =)

haha, funny. I always believed that I will find my match when traveling the world and not in my immediate proximity.

I wanted to become a writer at one point in my life, but I didn't. I wanted something that would guarantee money, but still also enjoy on some level. It sounds shallow, but I want to have a family later on, and I def want to be able to support it. But I do write on occasions. I enjoy how the same words work together to give a different meaning every time.
Well, you should practice. The woman of life might be waiting for you. You need to be able to walk up to her and initiate a conversation, lest have her walk by and miss a chance on meeting a great person in your life.

It's a shame I live far then! lolll I appreciate your kind words. You are very sweet, and I wish that you meet a woman who'd cherish your kind heart. =)

I agree. There have been a lot of people who got hurt for bad relationships. mostly because they rushed it. They wanted to be a in relationship, regardless of who they're in it with. I think the key is to wait. =)

I do read a lot. However, it's opposite for me, I tend to retain the content and forget about the vocabulary. :p But I do appreciate your advice. Thank you. =)
I have a saying that sums up my political philosophy, "we don't need bigger goverment, we need bigger people"
haha, aw, then women should be flocking over you like crazy! No woman would resist a romancer like you! I officially name you Don Juan of the Century!

I've never been romanced either, nor have I ever romanced anyone. Actually, I think I don't actually like romance all that much lol! I mean I have read poems and love stories, but there was never a huge romantic element to it. I don't know, perhaps because I can't relate to such feelings. Never had a romantic relationship before. Actually, never had a decent relationship before let alone, a romantic one. haha However, I am still young and life had just opened its arms for me, still got lots to experience. But I do beleive in the kind of love that would stand the test of time and hardship. I've seen it in my parents, so I believe it exists, and I hope to find it for myself one day.

But I'm glad I was paired with you, now I could learn the art of romancing from the expert! :D

you should give lessons or start a blog on how to talk sweetly to woman, many men don't know how to do that! It's a shame.

p.s. since you're so good with language and grammar, you should always let me know when I make a mistake. because I make them often. :p
It's going. There's a lot of hardwork and stress, but I think I can manage. My only problem is that I am lazy and easily distracted haha..right now I have exams!! *dies*

Your poem was so good, I'd have to think hard to come up with something as romantic! ...damn, I am no romancer at all haha
I've got mah' eye on you, boy.

Anyway, that thread is actually somewhat enjoyable. There's something about over-the-top romantic cheesiness that is fun...
Nah, talent doesn't make art. A middle schooler obsessed with manga does, though. :tongue1:

And no, haha. Just pictures for now. Animation is way beyond my skill level, however someday I'd love to make a short visual novel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_novel) when I get good enough.

Writing is an art within itself. (: To be able to create such vivid and powerful images from text alone takes so much skill. So it's cool you're able to do that.
Thank you for your understanding and appreciation of my predicament. I cannot believe how much I cried just reading your post and then writing mine. I believe someone said "Cathartic" and they were correct.
Ohh, I can picture it. Very cool!

Facial features are fun to work around. As a girl I enjoy both makeup and fashion to accentuate what I already have -- a little contouring to bring out my high cheekbones, deep red lips, etc. Your story reminds me of when I'd come out of my room one day dolled up, ready to go out and my dad commented on how I looked like my grandmother when she was young. It always feels good to be compared appearance-wise to my old relatives when they were young and lived during that time. :) A strange sort of flattering.

My art is far off from what you'd expect it to be, haha! It's my main hobby. I love drawing simple things that make me feel good, or making up different characters. Posted some of it here: http://forums.infjs.com/showpost.php?p=270121&postcount=95
It's just a fun hobby, I suppose. I'm a digital artist separately, but I use some skills to tweek the coloring on my photos, etc. Give it that aged look. :tongue1: Part of it is also that when I present myself in photos, I would like people to see it the same way I see myself. And when I see myself, I always envision myself in some sort of old portrait (if that makes sense), kind of like my grandparents used to have of their younger selves above their fireplace. I love and identify with the style. So funny you should mention grandparent's picture books, haha!
